Who remembers what the very FIRST OP gun was back when Destiny launched? (First to get nerfed)

Edit: It's not Vex, although I shoulda put that in there to throw people off even more! It's true that both the Vex and the gun in question were nerfed at the same time, but the other gun was running rampant in Crucible while very few people actually had the Vex.
Edit Dos: Lots of people saying Shingen, trying to get me on s technicality! I am talking about the Live version of Destiny. As in, September 9th version :)
Extra credit to anyone who mentioned Uni Remote! While not as rampantly OP as the correct answer, it was nerfed very early on. Just so few people had it when the game first came out. Still something only a vigilant day oner world know about :)

Stop. Suros was the most widespread in use. But pocket infinity and the Mythoclast were both nerfed heavily early on because they were WAY too OP.

This isn't true. I mean yeah for the base game but in the beta the Shingen was the absolute gun to have lol. Also I think Plan C and Pocket Infinity were in the same bracket ultimately.

Plan c was a lil ridiculous but Nothing compares to this thorn era we in. Not to mention nothing lasted as long as the thorn reign. It's been so long now it's like bungie doesn't care.

I use to run around in PvP with pocket infinity before when special ammo was PLENTY. it wrecked.

1 ReplyRed Death! Day 1 player here. Red Death was the only good pulse rifle for a short time, until it was nerfed. The phrase "It's a gaurdian killer" was removed from it's description at the same time.
