We were all kinda dupped with HoW being as though most expected a raid. With that being said ill wait till after TTK releases with the content I'm willing to pay for before I'm all in and end up disappointed.
Bumpty bump bump!

I wouldn't pre order anything if it meant that devs would actually have to work to make great games to make money. But it's like the whole voting thing. I'd vote if my vote made a difference. But even if I didn't preorder stuff, everybody else will still preorder and nothing will change. So idgaf. I'd drive an environmentally friendly car too if it would help save the ozone. But if I traded in my truck and got a Prius, it won't help the environment. Because it would take everybody else doing the same to make an impact. You get my point.

1 ReplyToo late, already dropped $80

1 ReplyI will be pre-ordering. Why? Because I don't expect anything from it other than more hours of enjoyment.
-
1 ReplyI've never understood the preorder thing, I mean it's not like they're going to run out of digital copies.....
-
They want your money upfront so offer you extra rewards for doing so, that way they have a rough estimate of how many people they have and it will determine how much content they can cut out and sell as dlcs!!
-
Yea I'm def not pre ordering anything. I'll just go in the day after or of and get any game/dlc. I've never been told oh man were sold out
-
1 ReplyThat's my plan. I know I'm going to buy Taken King, but with how many games are released broken or at least severely lacking lately, preordering wont be a thing I do any more. Even Destiny, when it first came out was a jumble of repetitive missions and one raid and was a disappoint for the hype they made. Bungie has come a long way but I'm still skeptical that they might pull that again for the 40 bucks I'm sinking into TTK.

1 ReplyEdited by Ne0nK0ala: 6/19/2015 3:36:34 PMAlready have, I'll do what I want to with my own money, and what I want to do is play the game I have already invested money into, that alongside fallout 4 and battlefront. Not getting the content this far in is like building a house but leaving out the doors. All you will do by not pre-ordering the content is not get to play it on day one, you will not change this game at all, not even a little bit, and if everyone did you'll end up destroying destiny not making it better, note this bungie has targets, if they don't meet those targets they lose their licence with activision. At the end of the day if you enjoy the game you should invest in it to make it better, not investing is simply making it worse.

1 ReplyI do what I want.

1 ReplyI'm holding off to see what Bungie does. There's still a few months.

1 ReplyAfter Halo: Master Chief Edition for XB1, I'm never pre-ordering anything ever again. Don't BUY something before it's completed/released since you really have no idea what you're paying for until after it's out. Maybe... MAYBE!... put $5 down at a Gamestop to hold a game if you're interested in early-adopter bonuses or whatever, but don't pay for the whole thing. At least you can swap the $$$ to another title if it takes a dump.

1 ReplyThey never said there would be a raid in HoW but they have for TTK. I think the price of the content so far has been well worth it for the hundreds of hours most of us had played this year. Destiny has replaced probably 5 other games I would of bought in the time it's been out and I will be buying the new expansion. And if your worried about content being cut I can almost guarantee you that this expansion is too far in the process for any big changes. All they are doing at this point is testing for bugs polishing and getting set for production of the physical copies of the game. We have what 10 weeks until release that's not much time for things to change.

1 ReplyIf people would like true change, holding out on the pre-order is a good way to start it. Unfortunately, alot of people were already duped in to the pre-order. The more people that hold out, the more opportunity for change there would be. I personally am going to wait.
