Gjally rant
Here we go again. [i]Another[/i] rant about gjally you might think. Well, yes! I'm sick and tired of getting kicked out of fireteams or less favoured above people with gjally.
I have played this game since launch and not a single gjally has dropped for me. After 8 months of doing nightfalls and raids [b][u]every[/u][/b] week, gjally has still not dropped for me because I'm at the mercy of a broken RNG system. I have now come to the conclusion that I will [i]NEVER[/i] receive one because -blam!- those who are less fortunate.
I'm becoming tired of this game. Not only because of the lack of content but also because of [b][i]ONE[/i][/b] single weapon that I just can't seem to get. For a time I didn't care, but right now it seems to be a requirement for every player to have this damn weapon. Since I don't have it, I am valued less of a player or teammate. Today was the straw, after getting continuesly kicked out of fireteams because I don't have a gjally I told myself that's it. [b][u]I QUIT PVE[/u][/b]. I never thought that I would come to this. I don't really enjoy pvp much but that's what it seems I can only play now.
Edit: Finally found one guy who helped me through 32 PoE [i]alone[/i], big props to that guy! I guess that is all PoE I can do this week.
Edit 2: I'm overwhelmed by the responses guardians. Thank you for the support! Alot of people seems to agree that gjally is not needed for poe. I agree with that, but for some mystical reason I always seem to get matched up with people who request that I must have a gjally to join them.

I'd run with you. Gally is certainly not necessary for any content. It was nice to cook Skola last week, but now that burn has been removed it doesn't matter. Any decent ascended RL would suffice. I don't even look at what people are using in PoE since it's more about just staying alive and achieving the objectives than taking down a big boss every round.

How the bloody hell, 8 plus months in you don't have a set fire team or a few friends by now to run stuff with? Hell or even looking around for a league. Seriously am really asking.

some people are just stupid, i've just finished a 35 and we had a guy with no gally who hadn't attempted skolas before and still only took two tries to finish. If your not a squeaker send me an invite gt is the same as my name hear and i'll be happy to help you in future poe's .

You play with the wrong ppl, I played with two guys that had gally, i still dont have one but the let me in on lvl 35 PoE still, just depends on the people

Think they promoted this toxic environment by not allowing the Gally to be sold by Xur. I need the Gally too and I don't even want it. I just need it to keep from being excluded from groups. Meh, dumb. Its all in the fate of RNG now.

I feel ya man. I don't even want to look at how many hours I've played, cannot get it to drop. Gotten lucky in every other way, got every other sought after weapon... but cannot get gally to drop for the life of me.

2 RepliesI and my Bro left a fireteam recently because the game host kicked someone for being a level 31 when doing VoG. I can't stand idiots like that... I hope it took them hours to get a party together as I invited the dude who got kicked out and we started and finished the VoG in about an hour.

1 ReplyReally annoying to hear people like you crying and bitching But even more these scrub kida who require gally or certain weapons I have never run into anyone that says requires this or that. I get gally all the time and shard that thing on the spot. I think im up to 10 I ran 34 yeaterday and one guy was a 33. Only i used gally. They sniped. It was easy as hell Besides you have gone flawless in trials. Thats harder to do
