The chest that needs the key is not on a reset, of you have a key then you will get a queens weapon if you use it. You get the cores from completing the poe, the treasure chest is just an added bonus if you have a key.

You can run prison of elders 4 times with one guardian that's how some people are getting more than one armor piece or guns.

No, no it's not... you get the armor/weapon core or etheric light as an activity reward. The chest is extra, can be opened as many times as you have keys (seperate runs) for a chance at exotics, Queen's (not PoE) weapons and armor, and other legendary things. Source: I've opened it multiple times. Gotten the Queen's Fusion, Scout, and Machine Gun on seperate runs, along with a Last Word and SUROS on other runs.

The armour core is not inside bellend. I got my first ghally, the queens shotgun, upgrade materials and strange coins from the middle chest (Y) well done for knowing nothing and crying about it.

The middle chest is not on weekly reset and only tied to keys.

Played Poe twice First chest -1 key = Reddeath Second chest -1 key = Armor Core So no the farming was well payed off effort!
