I'm 31. At 18 I would have been all over it, now I have a wife, family and full time job I just don't have the time to dedicate to replaying areas over and again

True. But once you get to the next lamp you get a checkpoint. Its really not that bad i only play a few times a week i go to college full time and work close to 35 hours a week. Now that its summer school gets replaced with another min wage job :(

I can appreciate its a great game, but I find repetition tedious (hence the trade in of destiny).
