Are video games for lowlifes and children?
Every adult that I talk to sees video games as a drug. That all it can bring is failure. I still go to school and study and go play video games; but I hate when people with alcohol and phone addictions tell me video games are a thing for lowlifes and 9 year olds. Give me some assurance.

Games are for everyone, people don't understand that we play video games right after we get home because it helps us relax and ease our minds from all the bs that happens around us. And it's also fun, it's not an addiction it's just like any other non gamer hobby, their obsessed with... Let's say football, and they tell you that you have issues that you do nothin and play, while they do nothing but watch games, it's the same thing.... Before I got a job my parents used to tell me I played too much and that I needed to get off my ass and do something with my life. A couple months later I got a job and still played and what'd they say? Get off your ass and go outside and play, have some sun light hit you, you were never like this!?!?! .... Smh

My 3DS does not come out while we are eating dinner or visiting with people, yet their phones never leave the table, and are always being looked at through the corners of their eyes.

This is #Gaming friend We all feel your pain When I was in the 7th grade, I was the only one to play video games in my class, let alone my entire school. Because they were all muscle heads. Sure they were nice but they weren't very...open minded. If it was talk about a video game it was talk about GTA. But I soon got over it. They had no business insulting me about matters they didn't understand themselves. Moral of the story, I dunno. Couldn't think of one.

How old are these adults? I heard a lot of that when I was a kid, but these days Video Games and Geek Culture are all but mainstream. I mean, most of the people my age were playing video games. If not them, their younger siblings. Now we're all grown up and have kids, jobs and still play video games. In a few years, we're going to be video gaming grandparents... You won't see us chasing you off our lawns, we'll be inside slowly dying and waiting around for Soulsborne 4.
