Unfortunately, Bungie cannot restore lost or dismantled gear, and I would assume even moreso not when someone tries to cheat the system

Not really cheating the system. Glitching yeah, but not cheating as no armor puts me at a disadvantage. Anyway, i agree. I really doubt anything will be done. Just need to try again for the gear, or buy the boots.. :)
