WHEN SOMEONE IS AFK! a new challenge!
When yur doing strikes and someone is AFK I have a challenge for you.......
Stop...think..."maybe something happened and he had to step away..
For example some of us are parents ... And if the kid wakes up we go take care of our kid... We don't think to go to orbit we want to take care of our kid... So don't act like a pansy and report or send hate message. Start the strike. ITS NOT THAT HARD! And we will catch up.....

Wow. I didn't know there was this many ignorant babies that played this game. I can see reporting the dude that tapes a controller and is just standing there punching..... So please continue to be butt hurt that somebody stepped away and isn't there to carry yur sorry adds in a strike because if you are as good as you say then it doesn't matter solo the damn thing. Report away cause destiny never said it was abuse to have to "legit" step away. Oh any for the dickheads that say turn it off before getting my child. When I hear my kid fall outta bed -blam!- the game I'm getting my kid. If that negatively effects yur experience go "QUICK SCOPE ON CALL OF DUTY!

Edit 5... Since everybody is so butt hurt I decided to go AFK on purpose.... Just got hard light. Lol. Might do this every night before bed now
Edit 6.. 5 was sarcasm in case tall don't know. And the whole point of not leaving is maybe we like that strike and wanna come back to it and not go to orbit cause we all know how hard it is to get the one we want in rotation. I had arkon priest 3 times In a row before

Don't join a co op multiplayer activity if you don't have 15 minutes to set aside. Stop being selfish we all have shit going on so don't waste our time by going afk

I know what you mean (even though I'm not a parent) I know what it's like to have priorities but the most you could do is dance to show you're AFK or go to orbit. Or push the power button because usually a kid needs more then seconds to recover from, falling of the bed?

I highly doubt that every afker had their child fall out of bed. If your afk I do 3 things: 1. Wait 1 minute for you to get back 2. Kill you with my sparrow if your still gone, so you don't finish any don't die bounties 3. Leave the game and join a strike with active players

If you have to get up and leave the system, leave the strike... simple as that. Im not waiting long for youre ass to get back from wherever. After 1 or 2 min is all people get before its a report for inactivity

I have thought of this before. Not just a parent to a kid but even someone using the bathroom or getting called away. I've had stuff that I needed to do quick and went and did it (I'm not a parent though so that I don't have yet). Now personally I will say this. There are times when you just have the sixth sense of someone not doing anything on purpose. My thing is after so long I just won't revive someone at all. Doesn't happen often but I have had times i let them stay dead.

4 RepliesI hear what your saying, I have three kids, they like to ruff house and do what kids do, and shit happens, occasionally when I'm playing, as a parent your first instinct if your priorities are correct is to help your child when shit happens, which normally means stepping away for 2 min, don't care if people have a problem with it.

I like to give about 3 minutes, we call it a bio break in world of warcraft(piss, grab a drink, pack a bowl, stir your crockpot) whatever. After that I start to get annoyed because- it's not that your getting carried, I could give a -blam!- about your scrub ass, it's that I'm not going to complete a strike alone for you to roll the gjallahorn. It's simply not fair. By being their you pull a % of the loot ratio, work for what you get.

The thing is ppl afk in strikes so much. Having other things to attend to is understandable but its not like ppl know if ur a parent or not. Ppl are aholes and some ppl got responsiblities. So if ur playing a strike and this happens go on with it, if it happens again go one more time, if it happens for a third tome, destiny has a go to orbit button uk?
