reasons why you're not too pissed about the weapons update
Well i can finally feel confident using my bad juju.....been sitting in the vault for way too long haha
Also happy no one would be sniping me again with hand cannons in pvp hahaha
Nice positive replies, keep them coming guys. Happy some are admitting they always sniped with the hand cannons in pvp lol

I dont have any vog gear but i can fully understand the frustration of ppl that have had to discard their vog gear because its redundant now. The vog gear is 100x better looking than CE gear.

A good Hand Cannon range user is just too challenging to take on without going Hand Cannon yourself. I don't mind them nerfing the Hand Cannons, but their focus was on the Exotics. They really need to buff the Legendary varieties to make them viable as well. I don't mind the long range one shot kills of fusion rifles going away either. I think their shotgun nerf/buff plans will miss the mark. I am mainly just happy that Pulse Rifles will get much needed buff. I think they are making mistake to weaken the Auto Rifles even more (they are already too weak).

1 AntwortenI really wish they could have kept the damage the same on Auto rifles for PvE. PvP I understand but that is going to hurt the Auto Rifle so bad. Since they upped the damage or Shotguns PVE it shows that they are fully capable of scaling damage in one area of the game an not the other. I am excited about the Pulse Rifle change. Finally these guns will have the punch the deserve. Now if they only felt like the BR in Halo I would be ecstatic. Shotguns in PVE sounds really good. In the raid I still feel as if other options outperform them. Hand Cannons I'm okay with but I will miss the ludicrous range I had with Thorn.

I really don't care. Playing other mmos for years got me use to the constant nerfs and buffs.

Skill > guns. Tried downing Crota with a Husk? No? Do it. You'll appreciate every other weapon out there a lot more.

1 AntwortenI'm not pissed because I've already been using Bad Juju as a beast in PvE, and as for a PvP handcannons my Devil you Know's stability and range perks are going to more or less negate the Nerf anyhow. Also, I don't play Crucible/use autorifles much and know how to hit things in PvE. Just wish Bungie would separate the stats already especially now that they've proved with the shotgun buff that it's possible.

Thorn is OP with the current range of handcannons because of DOT. Less ammo being spawned for secondary weapons, and fusion rifles becoming more of the weapon they should be. Shotguns finding a home in pve. Pulse rifles finding a home in the game.

It's all different. Can I still shoot aliens in the face? Can I still Titan-Punch them? OK =) I'm terrible at PVP no matter what weapon I use =)

People think its gonna be the biggest nerf ever for ARs, 2.5% damage nerf is nothing (if anything it just means 1 more bullet or something) Pulse Rifles are getting a much needed buff. Handcannons are getting a range nerf which is good since people like to use them as scout rifles. Shotguns are getting a PvE buff (which is great) and a PvP nerf (which is great). Fusion Rifles have decreased range (i don't mind this at all). And secondaries in general get less starting ammo (which is great). No other weapons were changed and it seems like a very good weapon update in my eyes.

1 AntwortenIt's not going to matter. Although I enjoy sniping with Hawkmoon and Thorn, the majority of your encounters in Pvp will be short/mid range if you're any kind of aggressive. If you prefer to keep dudes at a distance, learn to scout. Scouts/snipes should be mid/long range, hand cannon/autos should be short/mid range. Once it's implemented we'll get a feel for how far we can push the range on hand cannons. We'll see a lot more red death/bad juju/oversoul edict, which is fine. We need more variety of viable weapons in crucible.

I'm actually happy, I've used Bad JuJu for the longest time and loved it but then moved on to try more guns and forgot about it, but now I'll be happy to get back to it and also try out Red Death I got few days ago from beating Crota. Oh btw if some of you have Bad Seed Down- pre TDB vanguard pulse rifle you have to definitely give that a go too, its amazing

Because I missed the Battle Rifle from Halo 3 and I love 3 round burst weapons I am totally fine with the Hand Cannon change because I never bother to attempt sniping with one, i'm better at Mid Range hitting precision areas constantly

Three Little Words, which once fully upgraded is a decent weapon, will now be even better. Bad Juju will have more power behind it as well. Now if I could just get Red Death... However I'll have to wait and see how the Auto Rifles and Hand Cannons handle after the tuning before I make a comment on those. They're my two favorite class of primaries.
