The fact that it got almost 1000 replies means awareness was met whether you agreed or not is completely your opinions. I come across the hate mail often and usually ignore but decided not to this time and just felt the need to remind people to be respectful.
To all the negative comments, I'm a very casual gamer. I usually crucible just for bounties. I like to raid more than anything but enjoy crucible for fun. I don't really care about stats or score or whatever. My grimoire score is high because Destiny is literally the only game I've played for a few months now, but I don't keep track of it if it goes up then cool.
Anyway, giving away the Atheon cp on hard for anyone that wants it (whether you agreed with my previous post or not :p).
Will be doing so for the next 20 mins before walking dead just msg me if you want it or join.

1 AntwortenAlthough you should be able to use any name you want, if these kind of messages bother you, you shouldnt give away your gender with your name. Its a cry for attention which a lot of people (usually douchebags) will respond to. You are not a girl gamer, you are a gamer like the rest of us. You try to seperate yourself by calling yourself another class of gamer, while there is no such thing. Part of this herassing is human (especially males) behavior, the other part is your own.

I will throw out insults in a joking manner, but that is only within my circle of people I play with. If they are meant with disrespect than there is a problem, but that said I have told pretty much every person I play with to make me food of some kind (clan is having a barbecue this summer if everyone's schedule permits). Sorry that you ran into an ass and best of luck getting matched with chill people in the future. (also please send the potato salad by courier as it doesn't take well to snail mail).

I don't know where this disrespect has come from. I'm nearly 30 and have been online gaming since way back when you had to use gamespy on pc to find lobbies for Duke Nukem 3d, Shadow Warrior, Shogun, etc. most trash talk was just that, trash talk via keyboard. I think maybe with the advent of voice chat, it created and outlet for sexist remarks. I never really remember anything of that nature until I got on xbox 360 or the PS3. I think it's more likely it's 10 year old kids who know no better than to say things like that. That when I noticed the "hate" or hatred ament to female gamers. Just know it's a select few gamers in the community that are like that, and m that I hope your future encounters are nicer!
