finally! VoG gear buffs?

Everyone's hope for VOG gear to be UPed....is way to high. This is why when later they don't do it, you all cry on the forums. It will forever be the first level 30 raid ever. And it will forever stay that way. In two years you'll appreciate VOG, when they're 20 different raids out there.

2 AntwortenNot happening. All they are doing is testing the Light and Atk values of the DLC armor/weapons, but they are being smart and using pre-existing gear at to help prevent as many leaks about the HoW gear as possible

1 AntwortenNope. Bungie has test accounts where they have all sorts of weird item stats. This is exactly that. Remember during the whole "hunt for the Crux" thing where we found two people with two different Necrochasms where they had two totally different stats? Yup.

5 Antworteni didn't click the link, but i think the concept is pretty stupid. it's an old raid with an old level cap. That gear needs to stay where it is and where it is effective, in the vog. In order to be effective in the new raid there needs to be something beyond the old raid that needs to be accomplished. Whether that is vanguard armor exactly how it happened, or with vanguard armor that requires some sort of final upgrade that requires completion of the vog on hard to finish upgrading it. But to be able to just possess vog armor and all of a sudden be max level for a new raid makes no sense. There needs to be something in between so people can't just go from raid to raid with each new dlc

All this video really showed is that old vendor gear might be upgraded. None of the weapons or armor on that hunter were from the VOG so it could just be left in the dust. On a positive note I have always been in favor of eventually raising the difficulty level of prior content so we can have a bit more choice in gear. Hopefully we can see a little more broad expansion.

2 AntwortenI can see the possibility of a new mode for VoG awarding stronger versions of Vault Gear. There were two models of each piece in the data previously IIRC.

Aa bungee have said every piece of leaked data since the release has been very old and putting out videos like this just gives poor fools hope, where as most people know much of this we will never get. Bungie did not care that the new raid gear outdated the old raid gear. That was MEANT to happen. They cared that the vendor gear outdated raid gear. RIP old raid gear, it ain't getting buffed. Get over it and move on already.
