(But the trophies dont lie!!)
Lets see what trophys have to say about destinys population, shall we!?
16.4 million people bought destiny. a couple difference census' have shown that that a large number of copies were bought for both systems. on the playstation dashboard, in the trophy collection it shows the % of how many people worked hard enough to get certain trophies. even if the number of people who synced they trophies is less then the amount of people who have, there is a large enough control group of people who have, to gather the data that we are looking at today. so we will use all 16.4 million copies sold world wide today. you can get away with 1% of the population as a control group that would be 164,000. guaranteed there is more than 164,000 playstations synced. most people want 5% when dealing with millions of people. this still only equals to 820,000. a fraction of the number of sales. so lets get to it!
17.6% of people have completed the raid and 11% have completed the hard raid. thats 2.8 million people who beat regular, and 1.8 million people who have beaten hard.
You know what other game less than 20% of people didnt get to the end game? DIABLO 3.
What about weapons, since not everyone raids and some people just pvp, grind dailys?
18.3 % of people have played destiny enough to get a fully upgraded legendary. 3 million people fully upgraded legendary, and and 2.2 million have fully upgraded exotics.
15%( i dont have my playstation here, but all three are around 15-16% so im grouping them together, even though they are separate trophies)of people have done enough grinding to get warlock/hunter/titans sub classes maxed out. which means 2.4 million people have played one of 6 sub classes enough to get them maxed out.
this is the one stat that i believe stands above all else all you have to do is complete bounties. its not new armour, or weapons that you would get randomly. its a pure statistic, because it does not require you to do anything other than what you already are doing.
destiny is not the game bungie wanted it to be.

Wish the game would have some other activities than those raids. I don't care about them.

Bungie hasn't told us when it will be released. How can the release day be delayed if there isn't even an original release day
-
4 AntwortenI sadly agree 100%. Unless you have an investment in pvp, most players that only pve are going to leave. Pvp has a longer life span, and it's unfortunate most players don't like it. I already bought HoW so I guess I'll play it when it comes, but I'm not expecting much. I've put in more hours on this game than most (except for skyrim), so it's not like I didn't get my money's worth, but it has the potential to be so much more. Good post.

Even with all the bugs/crashes/cheeses etc. I was completely happy and fine with destiny. Especially when Deej posted the topic, asking us what we'd like to implement. People were happy that DeeJ acknowledged we needed more vault space/transmog/the queens wrath. But now I've seen why people are pissed. It's been how long since that topic and the only shit we've received are weapon nerfs and a delayed expansion.

30 AntwortenThere's no proof that the pic of March 10th was legit. That debunks ur info right there. Games get their release dates moved frequently. U act as if u've never seen this happen. Oh yeah, good bye.

8 AntwortenIn the mean time we're getting a "harder" VoG with new gear :)
-
It gave me proper time to get my titan up to speed. I have no issue with it right now.
But once I get to 31 or 32 with my titan, I'll be one bored son of a bitch.
4 AntwortenI love this game, but sadly, I have to agree. HoW is so far out. I'm picking up Evolve tomorrow and it will have to hold me off till HoW.
-
The whole "do you know what Q2 means" thing confirmed it will be out after Q2. That's JUNE. They should have left the Crota loot like the VOG if they wanted people to stay. Many got all their HM gear a week after HM was released. Of course, leaving it like VOG is what made some other leave. What they needed to do maintain their proposed timelines. Most of this stuff is already done.

Agreed, I love the game, but I've achieved everything there is to achieve, platinumed the game and just don't know what to work for anymore. I'm a below average crucible player, but still enjoy it, but even I can see the massive latency issues. As of now, with Dying Light (which is gorious) (pun intended), and Evolve, this is just going to be a once a week game for me unless there's events going on.

36 AntwortenWhen did bungie announce HoW was happening earlier than Q2?
-
3 Antwortenanother tedious little sob. been playing since the beta and still not remotely bored. how already preordered. and when they start taking preorders for comet I will be one of the first in the queue. please go away now.

9 AntwortenDid you ever think that they delayed HoW to make it better?
-
7 AntwortenHOUSE OF WOLVES WAS NOT DELAYED, they didnt announce an official date till now. Everyone assumed based on incomplete info from shady data mining.
-
I'm glad they're taking more time with this. Smartest thing they've done so far. House of wolves is the last DLC a lot of folks pre paid for. The dark below was a bit skimpy on content. Thus, House of Wolves has to be awesome. And I mean, knock out, no doubt awesome. Though they never said it was being released in March (no, a leak doesn't count as something official, any more than leaked internal emails on the subject of holiday decor determine if an organization is officially religiously affiliated), Q2 makes sense. Considering they released the dark below barely two months ago.

13 AntwortenBearbeitet von Bucket of Tears: 2/9/2015 3:31:37 PMJust burned myself out this last week. The no heavy ammo from Xur broke the camel's back for me. Got Forza Horizon 2 and loving it. Probably going to pick up Diablo 3 and then possibly the Witcher 3 in march.
-
How is this different from any other game..waiting for new content? Find another game to play. It's good to take breaks from the same old crap.
-
1 AntwortenWhen did they announce any release dates before Q2? It was a leak idiot, leaks aren't official
-
2 AntwortenSorry to hear about your hip but the release date was never confirmed, so they didn't "push it back." Speculation was that it would be released in March. That was just speculation as DeeJ confirmed we would get it in Q2 (April, May, June). Also the link you posted just proves that there was no confirmed release date, that it was all speculation

Me being level 32 on all my characters, it gives me nothing to do for 4 months except level up my weapons, find a few I don't have, and help others do raids..

Bearbeitet von Warlock: 2/9/2015 3:26:26 PMI'm hoping HoW will be just that much better with more than we expect. They're doing us a favor, patience is rewarded, if not in this, then in real life. Just thought that since I clicked on the link, I'd say that there will be a new location in the fall's Comet: Plague of Darkness.
