(But the trophies dont lie!!)
Lets see what trophys have to say about destinys population, shall we!?
16.4 million people bought destiny. a couple difference census' have shown that that a large number of copies were bought for both systems. on the playstation dashboard, in the trophy collection it shows the % of how many people worked hard enough to get certain trophies. even if the number of people who synced they trophies is less then the amount of people who have, there is a large enough control group of people who have, to gather the data that we are looking at today. so we will use all 16.4 million copies sold world wide today. you can get away with 1% of the population as a control group that would be 164,000. guaranteed there is more than 164,000 playstations synced. most people want 5% when dealing with millions of people. this still only equals to 820,000. a fraction of the number of sales. so lets get to it!
17.6% of people have completed the raid and 11% have completed the hard raid. thats 2.8 million people who beat regular, and 1.8 million people who have beaten hard.
You know what other game less than 20% of people didnt get to the end game? DIABLO 3.
What about weapons, since not everyone raids and some people just pvp, grind dailys?
18.3 % of people have played destiny enough to get a fully upgraded legendary. 3 million people fully upgraded legendary, and and 2.2 million have fully upgraded exotics.
15%( i dont have my playstation here, but all three are around 15-16% so im grouping them together, even though they are separate trophies)of people have done enough grinding to get warlock/hunter/titans sub classes maxed out. which means 2.4 million people have played one of 6 sub classes enough to get them maxed out.
this is the one stat that i believe stands above all else all you have to do is complete bounties. its not new armour, or weapons that you would get randomly. its a pure statistic, because it does not require you to do anything other than what you already are doing.
destiny is not the game bungie wanted it to be.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von KurtPanzerNader: 2/11/2015 2:04:03 PMDestiny lost their focus because their lack of ability to resolve problems. Players are tired of waiting so most of us have left to go play Evolve, Dying light, Diablo 3, GTA 5, Hardline, Dragon's age.... etc. Don't believe me, just have a look at your friends list. Bungie must focus on what the overall community want not their own agenda.

Reading that article on kotaku by that Kirk guy really made me realise how much I'm losing interest in this game, the gameplay will always be fantastic, but I think the grind has finally got to me, for the first week since I started raiding, I don't plan to actually raid this week. Hopes and excitement for potential rewards from nightfalls and raids has turned into impatience and dissatisfaction every time I get rewards (I have all exotic weapons, maybe that contributes to it). This game used to be really fun for me, and it's not just me I've noticed that has lost interest, a few of the regulars I play with just can't be bothered to do raids anymore, and the majority of what I hear from randoms that I raid with has now turned to complaints and disappointment, it seems like no one plays for fun anymore, just potential rewards, and honestly, it's disheartening to see the beginning of a real mass exodus from destiny, but to be fair, who wants to play a game where you feel frustration and anger potentially every couple of minutes, most often due to RNG? At times I really just wanna scream at the developers and say fix your shit, and they may be working their asses off, but until we see results, they could be doing jackshit for all I know. I'll probs be back for House of Wolves, or if queens wrath happens again, but until then, I think I'll be one of many moving on...

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Gabe: 2/11/2015 5:43:06 AMNah. Just because you stop playing a game for a week or two doesn't mean it died. None of the games I've been playing died. The only games that die are the ones that flat out stop receiving support for their online servers. Its not like Destiny is the only game out there. I play other games too and come back to Destiny, but if you only play Destiny you'll be burnt out quick. So no, its gonna be here for 10 years and its very alive and well. Also, I think it does have potential for the 10 years. After posting my own raid, I got a lot of replies that said "you should work for Bungie." Of course this is silly cause I'm just a college student but just out of curiosity I visited their hiring page, and they were looking for raid designers. One of the prerequisites was to have at least two years experience in making games. That's when I realized that some of us gamers who invest into games like Destiny can become creators of these games in less than ten years times. Imagine late into the 10 year promise we start getting devs that have been playing Destiny. I'm excited for that Destiny.

I've had the Destiny monkey off my back for two days and it feels great. It turns out Sunset Overdrive is a fun game to keep me busy waiting for the next Iron Banner.

Bearbeitet von Chit Chat: 2/11/2015 6:29:18 AMDude.....just play another game. There's other great ones out there. There is inevitably going to be down times with games like this so get over yourself. Also the HOW was not delayed. You decided to put your stock into a fuzzy photo of the DLC time line and taking it as an official release date for HOW when Bungie never officially announced it would be in March. And if it means more and better content then I accept the "delay." Also I think you just really like to hear yourself talk.
-
3 AntwortenNo, Bungie is giving us time to try out Battlefield Hardline or other games (Monster Hunter 4). I think it's very nice of them to give us a break.

5 AntwortenSo everytime I try to join my pals that are at the tower and it says can't join because the tower is full is another example of destiny being dead??

5 AntwortenThis is just redundant. You need to find a new hobby and stop spreading your negativity dude. It's bad for your health..I'm sure the community would appreciate less -blam!- boys in the forums anyways

1 AntwortenSoooo what I'm hearing is you and sooo many people are all gaming gods. Create a game with no issues... New content monthly... 0 lag/server issues/ meats everyone's expectations. Ohh yeah and don't ever say something may or may not happen because you'll be ripped. Till then have a good day and see ya In June. Just my opinion that you'll be back
