myself who already got every Crota normal/hard mode reward, every exotic in the game am now officially done with Destiny, and so will you in the next month, meaning you will have nothing else to do but wait for the next expansion which it's earliest release could be April 2015, which means you have 2-3 months of retirement. most of the people who quit destiny during that time period have a unlikely chance of coming back, finding other games that have enjoyment in them, other than the nerfing/buffing cycle which also causes people to quit. Crucible? there is no skill involved it all depends on the team that lags the most to win.
The once beloved game Destiny is dying, for the people like me it's already dead.
Rest in peace Destiny.
Update: Yes I have 3 hunters, and I'm proud of it. I've had tried a titan and warlock before I did not enjoy them as much so I made 2 more hunters, you can whine all day about my character choices.

9 AntwortenYou know, this is kind of ironic because I was at work today thinking ... "God I really, really hope that that Extimulate kid doesn't quit Destiny. Because if he does, so do I." You are the heart and soul of this community, and I don't know how we or Bungie/Activision will survive without you. Please, for the love of God, Please don't quit. We need you so bad.

R.I.P. Hit the page once in awhile in the hopes of a new event Disappointment ensues

I agree with this. The only fun times are when new raids drop. The scramble to get it done week one is real, and I love it, but it's more stress than fun. After the struggle is complete its just a plain old game.
-
Yup. Screw you bungievision- have fun with the last dollars you will ever get from me.

I 100% feel ya man I just recently got my mythoclast (the only weapon I've ever wanted) so I honestly have no reason to play the game untill the next dlc I have my desired ce raid gear that I want and I'm not up to grind up another guardian just so I can get to the same point I'm at now so I'm with you bro I'll play when I feel like it bit for now back to bo2

10 AntwortenLmao everyday someone makes a post like this. I've been playing since the beta and just recently started raiding 2 weeks ago. There's plenty in this game to keep me busy. I'd rather play destiny than bf4 or aw. You can threaten to leave all you want, the fact is there is no better Fps than destiny.

Bearbeitet von Archangel: 2/6/2015 8:32:33 PM1. Not many people are like you, with 3 copies of one class. Of course you would run out of interesting things to do eventually. 2. You realize that the train of debbie downers left for AW a while ago...right? It's a little late to start saying that Destiny will die out shortly NOW. 3. Destiny is surely addictive, but if you're playing it ALL DAY EVERY DAY of course you'll get bored with the repetetiveness. Go play another game, or hell go outside and shoot some hoops instead of pouring all your free time into Destiny and compulsively doing everything there possibly is to do in one sitting. No wonder you ran out of things to do.

1 AntwortenRight because everyone gives a shit if you play or not. Your statement is pathetic, and might I mention that you have sat here responding for the 10 hours your bitching and whining has been posted so obviously you haven't given up yet. If you want attention then go get a girlfriend, or better yet really, and I mean really for the love of God leave destiny because there are others who are waiting to make the same stupid post that you did, and we are all just waiting to see how others can make themselves look starved for attention. Good luck to you. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Agree. I am no professional gamer but I have been playing games on Xbox for the last five years.. Mainly cod zombies.. WHAT a franchise :-) Meaning.... THEY KNOW how to make a game.. I aint saying Destiny is bad, annoying as FU** yes. WHEN Destiny release Destiny2 I WILL NOT be buying into this franchise.. Such a disappointment, I have loved playing this game since day 1, but I'm getting seriously peev'd off now. SAME bounties SAME missions SAME BS from the Nightfall SAME crap rewards for doing hard mode raids, grinding my boobies off, for what ? Complete bloody waste of time - NO FUN anymore. Bungie .. I give you 1 week to change my mind... PLEEEZE LISTEN TO THESE FORUM'S.

And your legend will last an eternity?? Bye...you wont be missed!!

1 AntwortenI myself am taking a well needed Break from this game right now. I still love the game and will return in the future but I did it to myself by playing SOOO much since release. I've got 3 different classes(all 32s with glowhoo) All the exotics and everything I want & each of my characters are Faction Theme with a huge arsenal of faction weapons each. My money was well spent with all the hours of enjoyment I got out of this game since launch. And I'm looking forward to the future of this game. This is the first week since launch that I just can't bring myself to do another Weekly or Raid :-( Part of the un-motivation seems to be the chore of always having to LFG to get into a game. Lately I've been enjoying the mess out of Minecraft & Hardline. But there's a really HUGE empty void in my gaming life right now and I don't like it. Maybe if I boot up Destiny later on tonight all that will fade away and I'll be back to buisness as usual....

1 AntwortenTry a new class man

Have stress. Fap. No more stress. Keep playing destiny. Problem solved.

1 AntwortenI'm right there with you. Goodbye destiny

Ill keep coming back but not spending too much hours on it....

3 AntwortenAm I the only one who still finds this game a good laugh to play?

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von HarryMuff: 2/6/2015 10:39:11 AMOnly the community of players I play with brings me back. The endless repetition and joke of an RNG system (three hard Atheon kills and three Vision of Confluences in two days?) has almost made me walk away so many times though.

Same here, all guns and everything done... 2-3 months of doing over and over dailies? No thanks

3 AntwortenI hear you, brother. I'm not at your point yet, but I've been wondering what I'll do once I've gotten the loot I've been grinding for (Gjallarhorn/Hawkmoon... and now Red Death, I suppose) and once I've run CE HM through to completion a few times. However, there's one thing you gotta understand, man... The vast majority of players are not like you. They don't have 700+ hours played. The business side of Bungie is not going to care about the 3% of people with an average play-time of 40+ hours per week since launch. They've already built the attrition of some of these players into their revenue forecasts and are most likely completely fine with it. Long story short; they don't care about you, because people like you are a *very* small portion of their revenue stream who are assumed to be low risk of dropping out because you enjoy the game enough to play it more than a full time job.

Well...I am pretty much at that stage now. I already have what I wanted from CE anywho. On my BackLog I have: FFX-2 Pier Solar HD 100% KH 2.5 Dragon Age 2 Digital Devil Saga 2 Wild Arms 2 Ratchet Deadlocked HD Ratchet and Clank Going Commando HD Ratchet and Clank up your Arsenal HD

Plenty of new games will be out between now and HoW. I will be on a few of them, but no...as frustrating as it is now I have no plans on deserting Destiny nor do I think it's dying. The point I hope I'm making here is that there's more to do than spend every minute of game time on just one game. Your cumulative play time isn't seen any different than the casual who plays maybe 2-3 hours a day, so you're not afforded some special recognition for being a longtime player. Stop that way of thinking. You're not owed anything from Bungie or Activision. If anything you owe it to yourself to try something different, and if you find a game worth another 1000 hours of your life, cool beans. But if you stick with that, make no mistake that Destiny will hobble along with or without you.
