Nah man, you need to do it with a pike. Plus, when it gets damaged, you can just park it and get off, kill stuff, then come back to it, unlike a sparrow which would disappear after a few seconds unoccupied.

I took the pike in, got to two confluxes, got marked (somehow, even though the thing is hovering,) and blew up trying cleanse. Edit: woops I meant to reply to your lower post... Anyway, I Xbox recorded my final 30 seconds on the pike, was fun!

Same difference I bet... You can pickup ammo and engrams on vehicles, stands to say you can get marked.

Wish I could say it was, but it happened a while ago, and on a completely different console (I was still on 360, hadn't gotten an xbox one at that point). Nice clip, that pike was pretty damaged when you went for the cleanse, would have been hard to make it out of that.

I gave one to a group I came across doing VoG, I had been in patrol and picked up a pike from a public event, helped them clear out the enemies and open the door, let them drive off with it. I wonder if they made it to the templar with it. I would imagine you could load up VoG and then go over to Ember Caves and wait for the event.
