Games with actual low drop rates
I see everyone complaining about running crota six times and not getting crux... Not getting the exotic they want every week.. Remind these people of games from the past that had ACTUAL low drop rates.
For you runescape players out there, how many clues did you do and get nothing?
How long did you have to raid on WOW to get anything at all?
It could be much worse guys, remember that.

7 AntwortenAhh runescape was the game that I played all the time. God that game was fun. Still is actually, they have an old school mode so it's just like it was when I was really young.

runescape brings back fond memories lol doing 20 barrow runs for bolt racks and chaos runes lol

I had to farm out pure blade stone for a year because of that disgusting drop rate. All my demons souls brothers will know what's up.

They're complaining?! I can't even get my armor to drop during Crota on Normal/Hard at all! I keep getting stupid shards that I no longer need. FFS

1 AntwortenThis is console gaming and the FPS crowd, so yeah they expect everything instantly! I wish you could somewhat track XP and that it counted for something more than just MoL. The ranks in Destiny are too artificial, case in point I could be doing a ROC Strike. I have a 31 and 32 in my team, one would assume the 32 would have more experience and pull more weight but I constantly see them outpaced by lower levels. I remember also being a forever 29 (I also only had 1 character until Dark Below). So when you got that critical loot drop it was such an awesome feeling! Now people expect to have all the best armor and exotics just because they feel they've "put in the time".

10 manning a boss in wow and only get 2 loot drops, 25 man for what? 4 drops? Yeah, this ain't bad at all.

1 AntwortenDiablo 3 when it first released. The entire game was built around the RMAH so drop rates were ridiculously stingy.

Borderlands when it comes to certain weapons. DFO when that was still around.

6 AntwortenFinal fantasy xi - grinding things that were only spawning in every 3-7 days for a 6% chance at the item >.> or doing events that took 3+ hours to help a single person.

2 AntwortenYou don't know low drop rates unless you played lineage 2. I remember farming for days for a weapon drop for one of my guild mates.
