The thing, why we did swap ( as you can see by nicknames) on sword were those 2 orbs on mid platform..he picked it up on first sword so he hit crota 4 hits, 4hits + super.....than it was my turn and I still had those 2 orbs on mid platform for the second sword..I did hit Crota 4hits, 3 hits+super and Crota was dead. No need for weapons of light or anything else. 4 hits, 4hits + super.....4 hits, 3 hits+ super = Crota dead. So if you cant go through ogres well, just time your hits and make enough orbs for two supers. Also you can see Crux of crota drops normally, we got it already 4 times. No need to do anything specific, just wear Glowhoo. If you want, just ask for anything.
