Differences. Cheese (Slang for Cheat, but is different): A place (usually there because of poor map making and no play testing) in the map which results in an area that can halt or speed progression. Example: The platform in the Winters Run strike that players could hide under to escape being hit from a majority of the enemies. These areas can make it easier or harder for players. But "cheese" always refers to one that makes it easier. Glitch: Unintentional by players and makers, glitches can be game breakers. Sometimes they can be beneficial but that is not often the case. Ex: "I used self resurrect and was sent off the map) Cheat: Related to cheese, but is not result of poor map making. A cheat is a loophole. A break in the code that allows players to become over powered and/or breaks AI. Example: The Crota kneeling glitch was a cheat, when the host left the game while he was kneeling, he would remain there because of a networking error. Strategy: A specific play style. Not using exploits in the map to gain an advantage, these are perfectly legit. Example: middle strategy in the VoG, middle strategy in Crota, and left underside strategy in Crota.
