Has no one defeated Crota legit?
I played in 5 different fireteams last night with like 20+ attempts each trying to kill Crota on NORMAL and all 5 teams were incapable of even taking him down to half health. I keep trying to join teams to learn how to actually play and I can't find anyone who has the remotest idea how to beat Crota in a quick organized manner. Should I join a clan or something to find some decent raiders? So frustrating....

Do RoC strikes until you meet someone who can handle them selves and seems friendly. Add them. A group will quickly form off that.

1 AntwortenSadly very few people know how to actually [i]do[/i] any of the raids. Although thankfully my friends are now doing Crota legit because of the hard mode fix. I joined to help them take down Crota and we actually did it legitimately. It was a lot of fun and it felt good doing it right.

You can make friends and form a consistent raid group if you find people who know what they are doing. Once you learn the mechanics of Crota it becomes clock work. Not difficult to beat at all. I'm only speaking about normal, haven't tried hard yet :P Side note. My real life friends are around level 30 and 31. They had NO clue what to do, but we managed to down Crota after about 6 attempts. You just need clear instructions and someone who knows how to use the sword. It's a lot more fun when you play with people you know, provided you can form a group.

I did it twice. But I just helped killed the sword bearer. Someone else took the sword and killed crota. But it went smooth. One or two people were on boomer duty. The rest of us killed the sword bearer.

Beat him once last week tried yesterday and it was a mess. So was vog hard. Beaten that twice I think. Did not have a happy day.

I will be getting an Xbox One soon. Tried for the past week to beat hard mode but either had friends full of themselves or too stupid to stay alive...until 13 hours ago when I finally tasted victory! Everyone on the fireteam has to mesh well or you will never beat any mode. I joined in when they were at gatekeepers and they were trying for the past hour, all of a sudden I join and I get past the gatekeepers in 2 legit tries, got the chest first try, Deathsinger in one try, and Crota in 3 tries. Granted we were all lvl 32, but that significantly helped everyone. One of our teammates at crota was on a sliver of health since sword 2 and I ran sword. On sword 4 he enraged after I did 3 hits. The second and final chance during enrage I got 4 hits in as the over soul burst! Afterwards a friend of mine got the Crux of Crota! I swear...on fresh runs I always bring at least 3 people luck, either exotics or armor that are needed!
