You suck. I have been camped on lfg yesterday and today trying to do crota so I can level up a character from 31 to 32. I tried for 30 minutes yesterday. Been sitting here for 15 now.
Whoever said lfg was a good way to find people doesn't know anything. I'm tired of not being able to raid because I can't find anyone. At least if there was matchmaking I could play!
Edit:: please note I was a 31 trying to do normal the hard raid wasn't even out
Please read below points before commenting!!!!
1. If there are different lobbies for different levels and requirements, what would be the problem? Ie: all 30, all 32 for hard, x number of completions required, ect
2. No one would be forced to pick up random people. You could still opt for invite only fire teams. Just have an option for those willing to assume the risk
3 going to lfg or another site is a manual way to find random people. Why can't I just have an in game automated way to do it? It would save time
4. I play xbone weekday mornings looking to raid Half the time I cannot find group of 6 wanting to raid. It's ridiculous And yes. I message people and form a group, actively trying. I don't sit there hoping for invite. People trickle in and out but rarely do 6 stay and play
5 if I want to play with random scrubs , let me! Don't force me to do it your way !!! It doesn't hurt anyone if all people who want to risk in game matchmaking play together. Those that don't want to can do what they always do!!!

11 AntwortenIts your name, no one wants to type that. No joke it makes a diff
-
I suggested meeting locations in the tower and on the tower map. That way you can easierly find people looking to do the same thing rather than running around inviting randoms.
-
3 AntwortenWoah hold up You want raid matchmaking? Bro calm down Let's get some basics up in here like audio control and a vote kick system. Then we shall consider raid matchmaking
-
3 AntwortenAgree 100% usually i have a riterranno, but the add of matchmaking don't touch me but can help others so put it in now!!!!

1 AntwortenThe100.io Stop crying.

Doing it with randoms is hard enough as it is. You would get afk people like you do in strikes and there would be no way to kick them.
-
2 AntwortenInstead of waiting for an invite. Send see out yourself. Ask players that are lfm if they need another person. That's what I do. I realized early on that people don't like to sent the messages and invites themselves usually

11 AntwortenWell have fun getting with a group that blows then. If bungie goes that route and do match making, i guarantee you wont even be able to complete a raid due to the fact if you go and try and do crota hard for example, i promise you will get matched with people in the range of 29 to 32 if you are a 31 and if youre a 32 will get matched with 30 to 31s which we both know that wont go well.

3 AntwortenI totally agree. It took me 20 minutes to find a nightfall group on the 360 yesterday! This is the stuff that drives ppl away from a game.
-
2 AntwortenMatchmaking raids would not be good. There would be more fake bad connections to grab cp and more ppl dropping out for getting stuck in bad groups. Basically it'd become a time and resource waster The way I view it; if you have the patience to form a raid group then you have the patience to go through a raid.

1 AntwortenI think matchmaking is asking for an unorganized cluster -blam!-, especially considering how strikes are atm. Finding a clan is easy enough, there's hundreds of posts in the recruitment forums if you scroll down past all the stupid lfg threads. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to an in game lfg function. Quick tip for the meantime: if you post on an lfg website saying you only need 2 or 3 more people you're more likely to get messages. Most people on those websites seem to wait until those posts pop up before they message anyone lmao. Honestly though I'd recommend just finding a clan on the forums. I felt like you did once, then I spent 5 minutes to find a clan and have been enjoying raiding ever since.

2 Antwortenno matchmaking. use the recruitment forum before lfg
-
Never had an issue with finding any groups. Look on the forums. Send people messages. Be active.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von CheLime: 1/28/2015 5:34:27 PMmaybe its because people are looking for specifics when it comes to crota........... Like hunters titans and gallys Lfg is plating with random scrubs
-
Your post makes a lot of sense. I agree 100%.
-
I post on the forums and get about 10 invites within a 10 minute period not very hard to do
-
It would be a disaster. The system now works fine. I never spend more than 10 minutes looking for a group. Even for old content. I think a big part of your problem is the time of day you're playing. Weekday mornings most gamers are either in school, at work or sleeping off a hangover.
-
1 AntwortenYour post makes sense. Make the matchmaking optional and LFG is basically you manually doing it anyway. But how does the matchmaking system pick who the host of a lobby is? I.e. Who has the ability to kick? That could be a potential form of griefing if some real a-hole got the host.
-
Agreed I can never find enough people, especially considering I don't have much experience.
-
2 AntwortenDid you sign up in the normal section? Ive never had any trouble getting a team on lfg.net i have no problem with the idea of a matchmaking system but they would have to put some sort of rating system in so you know how people are online.
-
2 AntwortenTry destiny recruitment. If you really try to get a group and put in a little effort it doesn't take long.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Sora Orth: 1/27/2015 2:47:54 PMFor weeklys I have no problem with a matchmaking system. For a raid? Absulutly not. If you've seen online RPG raids, none of them have matchmaking for a reson, as if your pared with idiots (read posts about people's time with randoms) it would be exstreamly frustrating and a waste of peples time.
im aware that both have ballpark diffrence in difficulty, and are two different things, but read the consept of what I'm getting at
1 AntwortenI use lfg for all my raiding. Don't have a set crew. It's a shame it's not working out for you. I for one am all for matchmaking. You take the chance you get a good crew, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Hell you may even find yourself a consistent group. Bungie have used the ol "play our way" thing a little to much. But hey this is just my opinion, I will still use lfg and these forums for match ups. I love this game,

It'd be easy enough to make optional. Those who want to matchmake can, those who don't, don't. Everyone's a winner, apart from the poor people who have to sit and code it...
-
1 AntwortenShame you're xbox or I'd have gladly helped
-
5 AntwortenI can find a group for raids very fast, maybe you should try raiding later in the day when more people are on.
