You suck. I have been camped on lfg yesterday and today trying to do crota so I can level up a character from 31 to 32. I tried for 30 minutes yesterday. Been sitting here for 15 now.
Whoever said lfg was a good way to find people doesn't know anything. I'm tired of not being able to raid because I can't find anyone. At least if there was matchmaking I could play!
Edit:: please note I was a 31 trying to do normal the hard raid wasn't even out
Please read below points before commenting!!!!
1. If there are different lobbies for different levels and requirements, what would be the problem? Ie: all 30, all 32 for hard, x number of completions required, ect
2. No one would be forced to pick up random people. You could still opt for invite only fire teams. Just have an option for those willing to assume the risk
3 going to lfg or another site is a manual way to find random people. Why can't I just have an in game automated way to do it? It would save time
4. I play xbone weekday mornings looking to raid Half the time I cannot find group of 6 wanting to raid. It's ridiculous And yes. I message people and form a group, actively trying. I don't sit there hoping for invite. People trickle in and out but rarely do 6 stay and play
5 if I want to play with random scrubs , let me! Don't force me to do it your way !!! It doesn't hurt anyone if all people who want to risk in game matchmaking play together. Those that don't want to can do what they always do!!!

1 AntwortenAdd matchmaking, add a vote system to kick if the player is idle for a preset time. Problem solved. Kick only after idle because anyone who played Left for Dead knows the kick system was abused big time.

3 AntwortenWhat you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Because manual finding people most of the time shows that the person is there to play and get the completion. Not be afk and get the rewards. Raids are meant to be for a full fire team. A cohesive unit. I wouldn't want to be match made with someone who shoots at a gorgon every time we are just about to exit the cave and wipe. And no kicking ability? Sound like fun. If matchmaking were available you'd be damn sure there would be trolls hindering your progression.

5 Antworten
to all who want matchmaking, You suck
Fixed*

It normally takes 5-10 mins to find a raid or nightfall group for me. Raid matchmaking isnt a good idea with all of the afkers and people with no mic. Wouldnt work at all.

Bearbeitet von Pazuzu pistola: 1/31/2015 10:07:00 PMNo you suck. Its easy as hell. Just do the work. I honestly find you hard to believe because I raid with randoms off the recruitment section of the forums all the time.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von iMuteLittleKids: 1/31/2015 12:35:44 AMJoin a clan, or find some friends on a similar schedule. Just because you didnt find a group in the first 30 minutes doesnt mean the system doesnt work. Have patience and put together a solid team instead of the first group you come across. I see you are on xbox one? Maybe I can help you out. I know some people that raid in the mornings. Pm me.

1 AntwortenRidiculous. Know why? Randoms will add you in their fireteam... ...30 minutes later before they kill the boss.... BOOM! ... You're booted. Why? They invite their friends before killing the boss because they don't care about you, random guy. That's why it's impossible and a lot of people don't want it implemented in game. Not for this elitism shit people are talking about.

4 AntwortenYour first comment cold rid going somewhere. Other than that, it would be and in-game lfg, and we all know how effective those are...

1 AntwortenMatchmaking with scrubs? No thanks.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von bnarsty: 1/30/2015 5:17:17 PMIf someone is ready and serious to raid they will take the 5 minutes it takes to find a group. It's pretty easy to find a group but it will help weed or people who are not actually serious about completing the raid or are just " trying it out" . It's not about elitism it's common sense. Anyone who's raided with randoms off the app can tell that matchmaking would be 100 times worse. If you are serious about completing the raids you aren't asking for matchmaking

2 AntwortenThey should add matchmaking and there should be a button for the fireteam leader to push to request empty spots to be filled unlike when your running a strike and matchmaking fills the last spot 5 seconds before you beat the boss.

4 AntwortenNo, shut up

6 AntwortenThey should at least implement matchmaking for weekly, nightfall and normal raids. Hard mode should be for fireteams only. So solo players could at least gear up for the hard modes... Also i haven't heard many companies telling their clients to visit some 3rd party website, to play their game. But matchmaking is the biggest fear of all those elitist out there... Prob too scarred they would loose their elitism... Well im 32 on 2 chars almost and have cleared the HM on the first day. And I would welcome matchmaking. Not interested in waiting for 1 hour to play an fps map, that only takes a half hour to complete. But fanboys will always be out there...

1 AntwortenOn here I at least know I can check profiles to see weapons, exp etc matchmaking will put me with anybody..... No thanks

8 AntwortenI've never had a problem finding groups, try using the recruitment section of these forums.

With matchmaking there going to cycle you to people closest to you to prevent lag, just like the strike playlist and tower. Which is good unless you play at an odd time of the day, which means you'll be back on here looking. Just my two cents

6 AntwortenQuit trying to do the HM CE on hard no one will help you just keep doing normal till you get to 32 then try.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von mound7994_: 1/29/2015 6:08:16 PMIdeally, we could at least have the option to match make or not. I wish strikes were like that, too. Matchmaking is cool, but rather unnecessary. Perhaps for ROC strikes its needed. What I'm getting at is, when you load up a raid (VoG, CE), I think it should give you an option. Fireteam only, or to match make the amount of spots you need. This would ensure people who don't want randoms to NOT GET randoms, but it would also allow people who just want to raid a show. No harm no foul. I think the OPTION is what could work. It does not need to be absolute.
-
3 AntwortenWell one of you're problems is that you do it on weekday mornings. Most people have work or school so it's tough to be on at those times.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von That Zexi Guy: 1/29/2015 10:20:04 AMI wouldn't like the matchmaking the way it is currently. A better way to implement it is this way: A player can create a "room" for the raid. It doesn't have to be anything special, and can just be the player in Orbit (perhaps showing the planet of the raid location in the background). The player can make it public, or make it invite-only. The player can set level restrictions. The player can set a room name (or just go with a default name). Invite-only rooms can only be joined if the host invites. Attempting to join will send a join message to the host, and the host may "review" that joiners character and decide whether to allow him to join. Join messages can only be sent once every 5 minutes per room. The game does not automatically assign you to a room. When you go to pick a raid, you have the option of creating a room, or joining an existing room. It is still possible to solo any raid;, just create a room, and start right away. You have the option of joining any open rooms that you see. Invite-only rooms, of course, can only be joined if the host player invites you to that room, or if the host allows you in. When browsing open rooms, you can hover over the room and see the name and level of the players inside. Once a raid has started, players cannot simply join raids that were open rooms if there is space. A room that has already started their raid will show as "In Progress". To join this room, there must first be space in the raid. If there is space, attempting to join the room will send a non-obtrusive in-game message to the room host that a player would like to join, and the host may then decide. Players cannot spam join requests to rooms. They may only send one join request per room every 5 minutes. I came up with this idea on the fly, and I prefer organized matchmaking over the random matchmaking that strike playlists provide.
