How About That Other VoG Raid Set?
You heard me, that "other" set.
"Uh MrTurferPop, there's only 1 set, damn noobs"
Sorry, no there isn't.
If you've ever checked Destiny Data Base and searched through all the armor or weapons, you'll find a lot of cut or unreleased content.
Now I've known about this set for a long time but I've never thought about or really wanted it as much as I do now.
Here you can see both sets from VoG, the released and un-released sets.

There you can view a "blue" set of the armor with minor or major adjustments to the pieces.

Okay, what's that you ask?
Well, it appears to be an even harder VoG.
When can we expect this? HoW maybe, maybe not.
I personally LOVE the blue set and would love to see another reason to play VoG in the future.
It could be cut completely or it could just be waiting to launch as DLC.

Games like Destiny can't have purely linear content. Makes no sense to give everyone lvl 31 armor with TDB and give everyone a pass to 31 making the VoG essentially pointless to run other than for a vision of fatebringer. My hope is they will increase a difficulty level for 331 or higher AP weps and armor that will push us to a higher light level than 32. Please deliver Bungie!

There is a 6 month gap between HOW and COMET I suspect bungie will release a lvl 34 or 35 version of the VOG in that time span to hold us over. They will prob introduce new armor. And five us a shot at our favorite raid weapons again at the new highest attack

I wouldn't doubt them expanding the vault. Not just increasing difficulty but actually making something new happen? A shattered vault with a rebuilt atheon waiting for revenge on you. Maybe more to do with kabr. I don't think he's dead, just flung into space and time

I'm guessing that they have had plans for bringing the raids up I'm difficulty for a long time .... Maybe as a final game everything can be lvl 100 or something

I personally think that vex armor might be linked somehow to that vex raid they will be releasing around or after comet. It would make sense to me that it would come from a new raid, or even harder raid. Maybe doing the new difficulty of vog is how you gain access to the new vex raid to get that armor. Who knows

Thanks for bringing this up again. I forgot all about the blue sets! I think most ppl (well my friends and i at least) still enjoy running vog. Minor changes/rewards/tweaks could make it borderline awesome all over again.

3 AntwortenI've known about the second tier for a while but I doubt they'll release the items any time soon. Think about all the other locked content that we can't access, like sparrows, ghost shells, weapons, armour.

I'm telling ya, once all the "original game" is actually released, all raids up to that point will be revamped to a new max level...THAT is when we will have the variety and uniqueness that was sold to us prior to Destiny shipping.

2 AntwortenIf you look closely. It's the exact same armour painted blue. This implies it was assumed there'd be a hardmode set. There is not and will not be (at least for a very long time).
