OH MY GOD! NO WAY!
I finally got it!! Yes!!! Giggityhorn is mine! Since I couldn't record my reaction at the time, I have carefully scripted it for you: My reaction to finally receiving this beast of a weapon went something like:

My Gjallarhorn currently sits on my Lv25 Titan (along with my Helm of Saint-14. Ain't he a spoiled young bastard?)

I had the same Reaction when my first Gjallarhorn dropped, great story brought back memories of shouting out loud and bashing my head on the radiator lol. My 3rd dropped from nightfall this week I'm still happy because I will never need to keep switching now.

After the first two picked up their Gjallarhorns, I thought there was no way in hell I was getting anything on my 3rd/last character. Sure enough, It finally dropped for me as well.

3 AntwortenThis happened to me today except is was a suros regime, i was doing the weekly heroic strike. I had to go do some paper work when we first started and finally after 20 mins of that i comeback to my teammates they are already at phogoth. Anyways we kill phogoth I find legendary engram while my teammates get nothing but blues and coins so I thank them and tell them I don't deserve this at all and I head to the tower to the devil you know and o my sweet baby Jesus the legendary turned into a suros I was so pumped I dropped my controller and muted my mic and screamed with glee because when xur sold the suros I was one coin short to buy it. But now every time I look at my suros I know I didn't deserve it

2 AntwortenNow you get to live with the shattering realisation that ghorn isn't the be all and end all of Destiny. Sure, it's the best rocket launcher, but it's not like some golden ticket to easy victory.

I don't see it as rubbing it in. It's motivation to those putting off whichever event they plan to run for exotic drops :) And I did the same thing...post titled 'I'm "horny" ' :P Got a little story behind mine. Shows my nerdiness all to well! Last week, after being up for 30 hours. I was playing destiny and dozed off. Started dreaming of fighting phogoth with my Titan and at the end a g'horn falls on the ground and I run over to it and it says Lacktone found ... I then woke up knowing; if I play that I will get the G'Horn. So I run with my main toon, warlock, and get last word, hell yeah! Then run with my Titan and low and behold, got the damn ghorn! I just sat and smirked :) poor guys that did them with me got lame ass legendary pulse rifles or energy. I felt so bad yet so good. I just wish I could play with both at the same time! I actually had to text my friend my dream right after I had it. I knew he'd never believe me when it dropped!
