I play Destiny mainly for the Crucible but can't reach 32, unless of course I wait for each Iron Banner Competition to get Lvl 32 gear.....it's not the end of the world that I can't reach 32 but it's nice to get rewarded for the time you put into the game.......what do you think?
I don't only play crucible, it's just the part of Destiny I enjoy most..............I wouldn't mind hitting 32 so I can Solo some of the harder Nightfall Strikes for Shards & Strange Coin...I have yet to complete a weekly nightfall strike solo.........maybe the extra Defense level from being a 32 would make it more achievable........I am happy to be a 31 in the Crucible as like many said it only matters playing in Iron Banner........But why would it be a bad thing to cater for players that enjoy PvE & PvP?

Yeah I agree mate I noticed this a while ago, the only way to get to level 32 is to do strikes is it?
-
They will do the same thing that they did last time... They will allow players to reach 32 through Iron Banner by the time the next DLC releases. Up until that point, the raid will be the only way to get there. Given that level advantages are meaningless in the Crucible, if you don't raid, there is no reason to worry about achieving 32 until the next DLC anyway.

11 AntwortenLevels don't matter in crucible! With the exception of iron banner, even with that, the event only comes around every so often... So what I'm getting from you is noob is crucible n00b!

6 AntwortenNightfalls solo are pretty tough. It works best with a burn modifier and an awesome matching primary. Like Fatebringer or Vision of Confluence. Both are from the old VoG raid which you can do as a level 30. You don't even have to max the tower vendor armor. Being level 32 won't make any appreciable difference in a level 30 nightfall. You want better weapons. Nightfall duo are a lot more fun. Still challenging but not as tedious. You can hit level 32 using armor dropped from the first half of the Crota raid (plus an exotic helmet). This is easy. You can even solo this or carry a level 27. It would take several weeks with multiple characters to get enough shards. Doing the bounties to hit rank 4 with Eris Morn is very good. And Iron Banner gauntlets makes it 1/3 fewer shards. You can also just wait until the next iron banner or the March dlc. If you really don't want to raid, then you don't need to be level 32 for anything. I'm frequently running around as a 30 or 31 to level new gear since it largely doesn't matter. I sympathize, since I wish I could do the whole game without any crucible. But for exotic quests and achievements, alas, it must be done. As for you, do the raids.

Bearbeitet von ZOMBIE-PAPA: 1/22/2015 10:08:20 AMwhat you're saying is basicly: i play the last of us but only really like the online part. I think it is unfair that i have to play the rest of the game to get all the trophies....
-
Why do you care about getting to 32 if you only play crucible? Im not having a go at you i just want to know this because levels dont matter in there. Iron banner being an exception..
-
Bearbeitet von DigiOps: 1/22/2015 9:50:59 AMWhen the Iron Banner offered 30 light armor before the dlc, only two pieces could be equipped. You'll still need at least one piece or raid armor if this happens again for 36 light armor. It's also worth mentioning you don't need to be 32 for pvp, even Iron Banner, and 31 is more than enough for weekly challenges.
-
I agree.

3 AntwortenWaaaah! Waaaah! PvE is the game, not some side-dish multiplayer component. Levels don't matter in normal crucible anyway. You get left in the cold because you do that to yourself by not doing PvE. Asking Bungie to cater to your personal preference is idiotic at best. Go back to the crucible, where crucible crybabies like yourself can escape the cold slap of reality that is found in PvE.

there should be multiple ways to get to max level, not just 1 especially since they WANT people to play PvP, then why would you not reward them? another short coming of this game
-
3 AntwortenLook. No offence, but if you enjoy pvp that much and hate raids & strikes, go play Call Of Duty. Okay?
-
Play pve at the begging of the week and once you do all your weekly nightfall, heroics, and raids.. play crucible and mix it up with strikes.. That's exactly what I do and I play crucible a lot
-
Do both. I do

4 Antworten... Why. There are plenty of better multiplayer ...

2 AntwortenWhole games aspect is Pve. Pvp is only their for spare time. Go do raids and you get challenged.
-
I'm a pvp and I'm def not left out in the cold. - I send guardians home crying.
-
Because PVP broke many things on the PVE side. If you have to earn gear on the PVE side to get to 32 then great. Maybe if more PVP players spent time in PVE, you would see how nerfing the Vex from 52 shots to 35 severely affected the PVE experience.
-
2 AntwortenYou mean PvE players left in cold? PcS players haven't got a event in who knows how long iron banner comes about every 2 weeks it seems.
-
The last 3 or 4 "special" events in Destiny have all been for PvP players. I think Bungie's doing more than enough to cater to crucible players.
-
You guys get Iron Banner like every month. Lol wow.

2 Antwortenleft out in the cold? are you seriously this dense? PvP has been getting a shitload of pampering. you have now had 4 Iron Banners. how many Queen's Wraths have there been? oh that's right.. one. plus you have Trials of Osiris. you don't even need to be 32 for the Nightfall anyway.. smh.
-
I share you exact sentiment my friend. It would just be nice to have higher level gear with cooler perks. Crucible is kinda under appreciated all we get is a bunch of nerfs to every

Plus on top of that, it's nearly impossible to get glimmer or engrams by playing crucible. I can play 3 hours of crucible and accumulate maybe 2k in glimmer where as PvE strikes will get me nearly 10k in glimmer plus tons of engrams. (Way more legendaries)
