I play Destiny mainly for the Crucible but can't reach 32, unless of course I wait for each Iron Banner Competition to get Lvl 32 gear.....it's not the end of the world that I can't reach 32 but it's nice to get rewarded for the time you put into the game.......what do you think?
I don't only play crucible, it's just the part of Destiny I enjoy most..............I wouldn't mind hitting 32 so I can Solo some of the harder Nightfall Strikes for Shards & Strange Coin...I have yet to complete a weekly nightfall strike solo.........maybe the extra Defense level from being a 32 would make it more achievable........I am happy to be a 31 in the Crucible as like many said it only matters playing in Iron Banner........But why would it be a bad thing to cater for players that enjoy PvE & PvP?

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Silent: 1/22/2015 2:36:33 AMif crucible is your favorite destiny mode, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're rather good at it. and if so, I don't think soloing Nightfall/Weekly would be too much of a problem for a player of the caliber I'm thinking you are. jump in, you'll probably surprise yourself!

u just had IB last week

Get a jacket.

trials of osiris will have full gear sets.

Bearbeitet von Hippo_Legacy: 1/24/2015 3:51:09 PMNo I'm sorry but grinding out crucible matches is not even close to the same as trying to beat a raid. You get rewarded for losing in the crucible. Giving out level 32 gear for that would be ridiculous. People would go AFK like they already do and rack up points and be 32 for doing absolutely nothing. Crotas end easy mode may not be the hardest thing ever, but getting rewarded from it is a hell of a lot more challenging than PVP. At the very least you have to find 5 other people to do it with. I don't mind them giving out 32 armor for events like Iron Banner because that requires actually having to win some matches, but even then it's still pretty damn easy. I'm a PVE person for the most part (just look at my k/d spread) and I started playing IB on Saturday went from level 0-4 before Monday and got my 32 gauntlets. If they want to switch up the rewards system and make so that it actually requires skill to get rewarded in crucible then I'd be right there with you, but until that happens, I'm dead set against lvl 32 crucible gear.

i love crucible too, but i put my time into pve

1 AntwortenYou are complaining about PvP events? What about us PvE only people who don't have a solid group for raiding? Queens bountys have come a grand total of once since the game released which is complete bull. I don't care if the gear can't reach 32 just give me something to do besides grind bounties.
-
I hate crucible but to get all the exotics I am forced to play it. Or I suck it up and don't get them. How's that any different. Quit your whining.
-
Unless you're doing the hard raid, you don't need lvl 32. The difference between a 31 and a 32 in a lvl 30 nightfall, it takes one extra bullet from a dreg to kill you. That is all.
-
The game is built around PvE...not PvP. If you want all this extra stuff for PvP play a different game. How this game is, is its a PvE Game with PvP for those who want to occasionally wreck other players. If this was something like Titanfall where itd more PvP orientated then you'd have a point
-
7 AntwortenYou pvp players get 32 gear from IB, us pve players get 32 gear from raids. It's a win win just ours is more often.
-
Well if you only play pvp level rarely matters if you play both then raid problem solved!
-
I agree with you suggesting that Crucible should have armor or gear to allow characters to reach level 32 as well. If you prefer PvP to PvE you should not be penalized in how high you can get your character's level. However, rumor has it there will be a PvP based event in the future called Trials of Osiris which is rumored to have its own gear/ weapons similar to raids.

3 AntwortenCrucible has Iron Banner every other week. I rest my case.
-
Crucible players are left out in the cold? Hahaha we haven't had a queens wrath since October
-
They so cater for pvp it is called iron banner
-
There's practically no difference between 31 and 32 for strikes and nightfalls. Those enemies are max level 30 so you do just as much damage and receive the same (base) damage. The extra armor/damage resistance from 31 to 32 is also negligible. The only thing 32 is good for is Iron Banner and the CE Raid. And bragging rights if you're into that. Really, you're not missing much. But you could easily get a random team together for normal mode CE. Getting the gear to get you to 32 is fairly easy (although two of my characters keep getting jipped)

1 AntwortenHonestly pvp is such a shitfest I don't think people deserve to get to 32 for being good at it. This is coming from a pvp guy btw.
-
1 AntwortenAre you stupid? Every event and DLC is hugely favoring the Crucible. If ANYTHING, you are spoiled by Bungie.
-
2 AntwortenBe happy crucible gets exotics like, 100 times faster that PvE.
-
being 32 wont make soloing any easier. youll still die in the same amount of hits. i soloed the lvl 28 devils lair nightfall at 26. just gotta know what youre doing.
-
If you only play crucible, you might as well stay at level 20 as level differences don't mean squat
-
1 AntwortenWell most of the maps are outside, and it is winter where I am....so expect to get cold if you don't wrap up well....
-
1 AntwortenNightfalls don't care for 31s or 32s u die just as fast
-
1 AntwortenPvp is so fun, I wreck, but I also do the other stuff like raids, nightfalls, weekly's. But the thing I play and enjoy the most is Crucible.
-
If you only play for the crucible, iron banner is really the only thing 32 is important for. As long as you have the skill your fine
