Crota Tutorial, Swordbearer POV
I've uploaded this video because I think it shows a simple way to kill Crota in 2 swords as a 32. It also shows an oversoul is not a wipe!
3 of the 6 of us were inexperienced and we just guided them on how to do this. As long as everyone does their job it's not difficult.
If you have any questions on something you can't see in the video or aren't sure about just post below and I'll do my best to reply to everyone!

I would like to also add this if you don't mind. ------------------ You can hit him six times if timed correctly and fallow this method I'm also putting this to help ppl for Hard raid. Upgrade you speed perks in the sub-class to the highest + the sword barrier touch you should be able to do the fallowing. As soon as he kneels do R1-R1-R2-R1-R1-R2 and then jump and hit the air to escape Crota's slash and then repeat. Be aware if you're LV32 the Ogers will spawn because you took more than half of his health. He should be down on the 2nd sword. Hope it helps EDIT* I'm new to this clan as well :)

5 AntwortenYou are not using your super. Smash super smash is faster than two smashes. Smashes are r2. That is how you get four.

1 AntwortenI have posted to a few other comments but need to say this is a great video. Really shows how simple this fight can be. Few things I would change to make things go a little smoother but I'll only point out that it is best to return to the platform even after your second time the running down the bridge. As of you are leaving late Crota will chase you down that path and kill you. As going off the side he will not pursue you. Great video.

35 AntwortenThis was pathetic. Only going for 3 hits?!?! You can get 6 if timed right and you can easily kl him with one sword. Perfect timing and you can kneel him 3 times in one sword.

1 AntwortenThanks for the video. So that's what it looks like from that end lol. I main a warlock too and should be level 32 in a couple days, so this was a perfect example to learn from. Hopefully I can try using the sword so I don't get stuck on stair killing duty forever.

20 AntwortenInvisible Hunter runs at Crota as he's being blasted. As soon as he drops, you're on for 3 hits easy times. Best tip.

1 AntwortenA good video for new raiders and even more battle tested ones without sword experience. Shows how simple Crota can be. The timing was decent. That fight comes down to getting the timing right, if you can do that then Crota is a 5 minutes endeavor.
