One strange coin. That's all I need. One. And RNGesus is all, "Oh, you need just one strange coin? That's cool. Here. Have all the legendary engrams I never give you. There's even one that turns into an exotic. BUT NO -blam!-ING STRANGE COIN FOR YOU!!!"

I know your post is kind of old, but thought I would chip in in case you didn't get it. There are a couple optional story missions that give a strange coin I believe. And one of the gold chests on Mars gives a strange coin.

I've been playing on and off all day, I wanted just one more to buy the hunter helmet from Xur (and yes I bought ice breaker yesterday). And then I get two in five minutes..... turns out I needed one for the funky urn from him too, so happy days.

How far away from Venus is your warlock? I recently levelled up through story. I got a coin at the fallen guy who sits on a throne (draxis I think).

Do roc strikes and turn in all your blue engrams. Every 5th one turns into one for me

This happened to me when he first sold suros. But luckily the first blue engram I decrypted was a strange coin :)

Take one of your characters and get to mars find the gold chests.. The [b]4th[/b] gold chest on mars is a guaranteed strange coin.. I ran into this problem when I first started playing then found out about the mars chest..

Just run strikes and collect blue engrams. I get a bunch of coins and motes each day from the cryptard.

Just grind some vanguard roc. You will get your coin pretty fast.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kemaleon: 1/17/2015 6:47:02 PMOne of the Venus story missions gives you your first strange coin when you first play it, maybe the Archive? Can't remember but its part of the story so you can't miss it. Take your level 8 character through the Venus story and you'll get it.
