XUR AKA THE CASUALS FRIEND
Honestly people if you buy Icebreaker from Xur, or any other gear from that matter, you are such a casual I can't even express it with words. You are gimping yourself here. Missing out on the thrill of getting that delicious yellow drop. Plus now any casual who can get carried through a weekly strike or hell even open enough chests on patrol can get the GodGun. I am joking this post is really a test to see if people read whole posts. Can't say I blame people for missing this, it's a pretty solid rant. God dammit Bungie. This just goes to show that Activision is really pulling the strings here. Activision aka Call of Duty lords aka Casual Central. Now all the little scrub children will say OH I HAVE ISEBRAYKER I CAN SOLO DA BAWSS and then all die and need revives. This is the beginning of the end Bungie you've killed your own game and you don't even know it. YOU NEED TO EARN LOOT FOR IT TO MATTER. Xur the welfare vendor is ruining it.

The matter is, this is an MMO/FPS YA TWATS. It's obviously going to have a reward system for new players. Who ever is ranting on casuals down there, they should know bungee doesn't give not 3, not 2 not even 1 shit about you anymore, you already bought the game and probably dlc, you are really not the priority anymore, the ones that haven't are. This is a casual game, if you think you are so "hardcore" in this CASUAL game, you my friend are the biggest casual of all time. The RNG system makes "earning" items impossible. This game rewards luck, not skill.

Xur has helped me get my first 3 exotics, now I haven't racked up triple figures in game time as far as I am aware but RNG was not my friend (couldn't care less btw). The only way I could kind of compete is doing VoG normal and strikes, and people like you have buggered that one for me and others! When I strike, I try to kill as much as possible, be it for bounties or weapon experience/engrams. Now the whole thing is sprint to the end, rinse repeat, effectively limiting what I can do....then I have to listen to guys like you whinging because I don't have the best gear, or don't have fully levelled armour/weapons for the raid. So when Xur comes, I'm going to browse his wares....I'm going to buy them...and I'm sure as hell going to rub it in people's faces. (I know you said haldfway through it wasn't serious, but I'm sick of seeing it. Its a game)
