I have all the answers I need
Hi all.
Gonna buy Obsidian Mind tonight (thnx Xur, m8) but I don't know why it's so great.
Can people shed some light on this for me?
And also any info regarding the impacts of coupling it with Bad JuJu would be appreciated? I've seen people claim it to be a 'match made in heaven' whereas others say they cancel each other out.
Thanks,
IAMZLATAN
Edit:
Thanks guys, appreciate it. Looks like my playing time this weekend will be spent in Crucible getting my remaining 6k points

2 AntwortenI was fortunate enough to have gotten the obsidian mind from a helmet engram from xur the second week the helmet was out. I can tell you a few things about the helmet, how I use it to be the most effective in PvE, and how it's not really special in PvP. From what I have been able to gather through weeks of gameplay with it, inverse shadow and insatiable work hand in hand. I have my voidwalker equipped with shatter, soul rip, annihilate, and bloom. These have been the most effective in killing the most enemies at any given time. I have found that for each enemy that I kill with Nova Bomb, I get 10%of my super back. Cup that with soul rip, annihilate, and bloom, usually if I super a large group of enemies, I have an immediate super ready thereafter. For PvE, I honestly do not believe there is a better piece of exotic armor for a warlock with voidwalker when it comes to orb production (which is what keeps everybody happy) I played omnigul a few times last week and had a game where my team mate picked up something like 60 of my orbs. It was absolutely out of control. This helmet has been my favorite exotic especially since I prefer voidwalker because I like to keep my team mates super'd and happy. (Because a super'd team is a happy team) With that being said. This helmet doesn't do much for you in PvP unless you can get lucky enough to kill 4+ guardians. It just doesn't have any PvP traits that stick out to me. However, I'll still stick with this helmet for every raid/strike/nightfall/weekly that I run for the most part. It's just awesome, and completely worth the buy. I'm not even really upset Xur has it this week because it's really only going to benefit the group that I run with. (we have 4 warlocks usually). We're going to ascend to Orb Heaven. Good luck!

You know that Nova Bomb you like using? Now the bonus you get from killing things in PvE gets a bonus to the Super. Killing things with Nova Bomb gives you a bonus to charge your Super. Almost any action you take: Bonus + (bonus) + bonus + (bonus) = Nova Bomb + (bonus) = bonus + (bonus) + bonus + (bonus) = Nova Bomb TL;DR: Basically anything you do gives a size able bonus to Super energy. Nova Bombs then Nova Bombs then Nova Bombs. Möbius Nova Bombs Nova Bombs-ception Nova Bomb ad infinitum
-
My most perfect nova bomb shot(disregard the missed rocket launcher shot after it lol)
-
Let's put it this way. You'll get your Super, three times to everyone else's one.
-
examples of its dominance: Got 6 nova bombs in a game of control the other day, finished with about a 5000 point score. (Not typical of a 5000 pt score in that match, however, was aided by multikills with the nova bomb and teammates orbs.) Without OM, probably would have amounted to 3-4 nova bombs. 10 Novabombs in the lamp section of Crotas end. Immediate super replenish after launching if killing 6+ enemies with nb.

2 AntwortenObsidian Mind + Bad JuJu = Carnage the likes of which you've never seen in Destiny. I have a reason to play my warlock again :)

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ghostface74: 1/16/2015 4:50:59 PMObsidian Mind's exotic perk is "Nova bomb kills reduce the cooldown of your next Nova Bomb". What that means is, the more kills you get with your Nova Bomb, the faster it charges up. In my experience, killing 6 mobs filled up my next Nova Bomb halfway (not sure how yellow health bar mobs affect recharge). Bad Juju's String of Curses has an added benefit where kills help charge your super. When you combine the two, if you use your Nova Bomb (hopefully getting 4-6 kills with it) and then get 3-6 more kills (depending on how many you got with your Nova Bomb) with your Bad Juju, your next Nova Bomb is ready to go. Edit: Presumably, if you have enough targets to kill, such as the lamp portion of the raid or the Siege of the Warmind mission, you can fully charge it after one Nova Bomb.
-
Because killing a large group of trash mobs will almost (if not fill) fill your super back up. Imagine having an infinite supply of supers at your disposal. That's the Obsidan mind.

3 AntwortenFrom what I have seen, if you can manage 5-7 kills with a single bomb and you use Bad Juju to clear further adds, you are looking at a mere 5-15 second downtime between supers....sometimes even less.

The bad juju has string of curses, it's special perk that increases damage with every kill and fills your magazine what helps obsidian mind though is that it helps you get your super faster, and obsidian mind has a perk that when you kill enemies with the nova bomb, it decreases the cool down of the next one, it is literally a crazy combo

Cause it looks awesome!!!

1 AntwortenObsidian mind + bad juju = ultimate carnage. The combo allows you to sling a super every 5 to 15 seconds very beauty when done right.

Nova bombs in ROC strikes all day matr

8 AntwortenCombination of juju and obsidion equals nova bomb spam
-
What makes it so great is if you use nova-bomb right you basically have it charged immediately. Most of the time I throw my super kill two enemies after that and can use the super again
-
The more enemies you kill the more super you get back. It is not total orbs.
