If by casual,you mean Destiny players that do not earn a paycheck or otherwise provide for themselves and/or family by playing the game then yes...yes it is in the hands of casual gamers.

I've saw a kid go 2 - 20 on crucible... and was "awarded" icebreaker.... He's a casual... Some casuals do get lucky and get great awards..
