why is everyone upset about icebreaker being sold...
Can someone enlighten me as to why there are so many butthurt guardians becuase icebreaker is being sold!

I think more people like to stir things up on the forums than actually care what guns people have. It's mostly poorly done "satire".

Because people think having this gun separates them from less skilled. Also some odd sense of entitlement in a video game that randomly drops any item for the lulz. We all paid to get this game, not sure how some people think they are above others here. Play the game and have fun, take what's yours.

19 AntwortenIcebreaker in essence is supposed to be rare it and gjalahorn alike they are supposed to be covered after they are the big hitters and the more people that have them the less value they have ( like anything else). Also if a lot of people have it it's more likely it will see a nerf in the future ( the same thing happened with suros and vex) it's not that people are "upset" they are just afraid for the future of this great weapon

If only ppl could understand that the more guardians equipped with good gear the more efficient raids, nightfalls,weeklys and strikes can be done, its alot better if theres 6 Icebreakers out, lighting shit up then 2 common sense ppl

6 AntwortenAhhh man, you mean to tell me we will always have someone on Boomer duty now?! This gun is so gamebreaking, you can solo the entire raid with it alone. Nerf Icebreaker in PvP, one shot headshot instant kills are BS.

Instead of being happy for players to have a badass gun which will surely add more enjoyment to the game for them these little twats cry like the little unloved from mommy bitches they are. What's even worse is when their double digit IQs try and imply people who buy the gun with coins (earned.....playing the game) didn't earn it while those who got it as random loot did. This is like saying someone didn't earn their PS4 because they bought it with money made from their job rather than getting it as a gift, winning it in some raffle or having someone just randomly hand them a ps4. The stupidity of the species knows no bounds and I can only hope these morons have not or will not ever procreate because the world doesn't need their idiot offspring. If they have already sadly produced some kids and the kids aren't actually morons then I feel sorry for the kids to have such idiots as parents. I'd love to think these tools are all just teenagers so the hissy fits they throw are understandable or in their very early 20s but I am sure some are actually old enough to know better than being such a complete useless drain on society.

Don`t you use my first Exotic Weapon Bad Jujuuuuuu!!! I think the main problem is that people that don`t have enough strange coins to buy it so while they repeatedly sniped in the crucible with it they get pissed.

4 AntwortenTo be honest I was a little bummed out because It is a pretty rare weapon that is a great tool for PVE and like Gjallarhorn it is dominant in certain situations and it allowed many to stand out a little more from the crowd. I had first purchased one from Xur and shortly after I had one drop after a tiger strike. I believe the issue for everyone is that those that had Icebreaker were some of the more experienced players that had either bought it when Xur sold it or had it drop through RNG but whatever the case it is just another example of the players of the game not having enough options to differentiate themselves from the other 12 million guardians. I believe that all exotics should have a bounty attached to them so that they become true exotics and highly valued. I value my Thorn and Bad JuJu because of the effort that was required to obtain them. I do not have a Gjallarhorn but I do not want to see that sold as I want to be truly thankful and excited when I get in a drop. At least one gun is still rare and highly prized unlike hard light that is rare but a piece of plastic crap. Just my 2 cents but I believe that is the reason for the frustration.

Finally! I've had the ice breaker since week two and it has always been a struggle playing raids and strikes with people who didn't have this weapon of mass destruction. I'm glad because this game has just become a lot more easier for all of us :D

I already had ice breaker (bought one the last time Xur had it) and I think it's great he's selling it again. Ice breaker is a gun everyone who is doing endgame should have. I've put a fair amount of my time into this game since launch and have never received an ice breaker drop. If it wasn't for Xur I wouldn't have it. I can't complain about other people being able to pick it up in the same manner. People who are complaining need to get over themselves.
