crota now next to impossible
just spent the last 2 hours trying to kill crota. he gets up after one hit moves faster than before. ogres spawn after 1 sword bearer WTF

Yesterday I ran the raid twice in about an hour, I was so surprised how smooth it ran, no hiccups or anything. HOWEVER, the day before that we spent like 3 hours on crota and it was just unreal. The thing that always killed us was the oversoul, it's as if they made it harder to kill or near to impossible to kill with only 4 people, we had 5 but the 5th was down from crota killing him. Also I noticed it seems as if his shield regenerates faster but two ghorn shots always drops him for me.

Just make sure the sword guy is in position before attacking Crotas shield that way he can get the most hits possible. You can also have the sword carrier call out when to attack that way you guys make crota kneel just before they land on the platform. [spoiler]I find that hunters are the best sword bearers because of stealth and their jump ability.[/spoiler] Edit: Ogres only spawn every two sword bearers. -Thanks to Jay.

I've had the sword disappear a few times but apart from that he's been pretty well behaved. Beat him second time of asking earlier in week. Had a good team with good weapons that communicated well.

It's not impossible though, if your group continues to have problems try switching people up. Also make sure everyone has a job and they know. Boomers, Sword, Rockets ect. Good luck!

4 AntwortenEven with a team of Noobs (ie. only one person who has beaten Crota legit and knows how to do it) as long as you have a team of people who can follow basic instructions with a fairly competent sword handler you should be able to beat Crota after 2-3 wipes Unfortunately last night I had a friend invite me in and literally only myself and one other person had beaten Crota legit. Fine--we can get through this. WRONG. 3 of the guys couldn't follow basic instruction. "We need 2 guys to take out the Boomers and the others can help kill the SwordBearer". Why did 4 morons decide they were all going to shoot at Boomers only and totally ignore the SwordBearer? After we killed the SwordBearer why were 2 guys trying to take down Crotas shield with their auto rifles, why did one guy run out of primary ammo before we even killed the SwordBearer, why did one guy use his G-Horn to take out Thrall when we were trying to take down Crota's shield. It was a comedy of errors despite the whole fire team getting specific instructions after each wipe. Everyone wanted to be a Power Ranger.
