crota now next to impossible
just spent the last 2 hours trying to kill crota. he gets up after one hit moves faster than before. ogres spawn after 1 sword bearer WTF

Shitted in Crota's breakfast sammich twice on tuesday, on the first attempts, no wipes. 2 hours on Crota? Took us 55 minutes for the entire raid lol.

It's not impossible. When we did it two days ago we were able to take down crota twice per sword bearer and the guy holding sword would be able to get 3 hits in each time. I think you need to work on communication with your team.

Ran it multiple times with the same fireteam and we found that many of the fights had this same occurrence. Ive beaten him many times before the patch with and without cheese, but for some rason he moves super fast after the fist hits with the sword. Everyone on my team noticed this and have seen a few videos where people comment on this very thing. Timing isn't the issue here. We even ran one where we just cleared one side to get to the swordbearer a lot faster and took him down with a few rockets (took only a few seconds). Immediately brought Crota down and swung a few times, but as soon as he got back up, he was rotating to the right. Its an actual issue, not some "timing" bullcrap. We have tested this many times in my clan and we find it happens, albeit infrequently, but it happens. So please stop with the "haha cheezers cant doo teh raid" as many players that take more enjoyment doing these raids legit are actually running into issues, but all anyone wants to see is "cheese has been fixed, now people are having a hard time doing raid. Must be ex-cheesers, cant possibly be a bug caused by hot fix".

This is not true at all. I beat crota 3 times yesterday and twice was the sword bearer. What you need is better call outs and stronger guns. I'd be happy to help if you didn't complain and knew what you were talking about

You have to kill that first sword bearer asap. If he is still alive in the seconds ones spawn window it skips to ogres.

Seriously dude? I think I did Crota legit one time prior to the patch and cheesed him all the other times. This week, beat him with all three toons in a matter of 3 hours total. Perhaps the issue lies behind your controller.

1 AntwortenIt's just as easy as it's ever been man. I ran it last night with total randoms and we killed Crota without wipe. You should probably just get good. That'll fix your problem instantly.

I always thought cheesing was harder than beating him legit. Only cheesed 1 time, took way longer and was way more frustrating than just being patient.
