Strangest Reason You've Been Kicked from Fireteam
So last night I joined a VoG Raid group I found on Destiny LFG. They posted for a Full Hard raid so I was surprised when I dropped in and they were at Atheon on normal. I kept playing because, why not I thought. It took us awhile because there were 3 noobs who kept dying.
When we defeated Atheon, Vision of Confluence and Timebreaker dropped for me. Almost immediately I'm kicked from the party and the fire team.
I'm deaf and of all the groups I've joined I've only been kicked once for reasons directly related to my hearing. It's laughable that I get booted for getting a better drop. I'd understand if I got IB, Gally, or the Vex, but a legendary scout rifle and sparrow? C'mon!

VoG HM as a 29 warlock, got kicked because I didn't die once and I got more kills than the 32 leader who also died 3 times on atheon

3 AntwortenNot to brag but I have never been kicked. I'm usually the one who hosts or I'm usually the one who knows more than a everyone in the group and they always keep me. Grabite I have been threatened to be kicked but it has never happened.

They probably kicked you because the raid was over and were splitting off to do other things, when we do charity raids a lot of the time people don't want to leave and want us to take them through the nightfall/weekly etc, not trying to be rude but we have our own stuff to do after, not saying you're a charity case but maybe they had a group together that was going to do the nightfall or something after

We were grabbing the Exotic Chest in the Gorgon's Maze, some guy in the Fireteam pulled Suros Regime, I had been wanting one for a while so I calmly said to the guy "You lucky son of a bitch", he then said "Don't swear at me" and I was booted from the Fireteam. Needless to say I was really confused.

4 AntwortenDidn't get kicked but kicked someone. Hard VoG at Atheon, teleported to Venus, I'm on the outside, hear relic holder call for nades multiple times, no nades, relic holder dies. I ask who got teleported and didn't throw nades. No one speaks up. Finally one says they didn't. I find out who the other was and they got pissed off and said "sorry I don't know your effing code words". So apparently "nades" is a code word. Adios my friend. Five manned it next run.

My worst kick was when all i needed was crota kill but decided to help the group with whole raid... Then when we get to crota down about 15% health and ogre spawns they boot me to bring there friend in!

I literally started counting up because they all sounded homophobic. I got to the count of five before I was finally kicked.

He made a big deal about it so I switched my ship and weapons (raid gear) to match his so we were true twinsies. *You have been removed from the fireteam*

Last night I was running VoG with a team that I was mostly carrying. We're in Gorgons and I hear "oh jimmy just signed in" and then a minute later I was booted. That was my first ever boot. They actually did me a huge favor because I was just playing temple through Atheon for the exotics so I was able to get the chest then pick up with another team at Atheon.

6 AntwortenI haven't been kicked. But I have kicked someone because they were wearing "The Cloak of the Sixth Reign" and kept kicking him till he changed it I want that cloak so bad and by god no one will be in my fireteam and wear it untill I have it. I'm so petty

Vault of Glass last week. Nobody would grab the relic at Atheon. We tried like 4 times. Finally I get teleported so i get the relic, nobody shoots oracles we die. Next time. I grab the relic. We get out, go to the middle as discussed and two of the fireteam members(the ones that didnt shoot oracles last time.) die firing rockets into the bubble. Fireteam leader says its my fault since i have the relic and boots me. I completed it first try with a different group though haha.
