Strangest Reason You've Been Kicked from Fireteam
So last night I joined a VoG Raid group I found on Destiny LFG. They posted for a Full Hard raid so I was surprised when I dropped in and they were at Atheon on normal. I kept playing because, why not I thought. It took us awhile because there were 3 noobs who kept dying.
When we defeated Atheon, Vision of Confluence and Timebreaker dropped for me. Almost immediately I'm kicked from the party and the fire team.
I'm deaf and of all the groups I've joined I've only been kicked once for reasons directly related to my hearing. It's laughable that I get booted for getting a better drop. I'd understand if I got IB, Gally, or the Vex, but a legendary scout rifle and sparrow? C'mon!

16 AntwortenBy the way, in about a month ago, I have posted LFG that I was told I am hearing impaired and I can't use a mic. So, I joined a group for doing raid boss and they kept kicking me out because they prefer to use a mic only. That is ridiculous! I feel that is not fair because they focus hearing players, but what about deaf/hard of hearing? They can play, too. But, I found a few friends who accept for what I am.

I was kicked from vog because at the maze part on hard I took the rocks and they said its like easy take the wall(face balm) I wouldn't stop saying you can't so they kicked me

Because i always kicked hin as a joke (my friend) so the first time he was the fireteam leader and i was in it, he kicked me and then let me back in xD

For calling a guy out because he sucked. They never did finish that hard VOG because of him lol.

(I told my mates 'trust me it will be a laugh') I told him he would need to be the one to pull his internet cord out. He tried getting out of it for some reason but I insisted. So he starts up crota and me and two mates jump in with him. We shoot at crota and I shout now for the kid to DC, crota is stuck and we sit back to allow him to rejoin. :) whilst he is offline I quickly share my evil plan with my mates and get fireteam leader. We then proceed to get the sword and start wailing on crota, I can hear the squeakers shouts for all the goodies he is after, I go to my roster and hover over his name... 'Hes almost dead! He's almost dead!' I hear in a ear splitting squeel. Boot. I'm not sure what the kid was saying but he didn't sound to pleased, 30 seconds later his mum is screaming at him for somthing he shouted XD We were in stitches XD Best boot ever. (For me) Edit: loving the replies guys :) Edit: 50+ replies! I'm still loving them :)

Got kicked from crota for being a level 29, remember the ist raid team consist of 4 29s and 2 30s, since then i have killed crota with a good grp over 10x and im a 32 now withfull raid gear

Had my crucible shotgun equipped and forgot to switch to patience and time before the boss. Asked why I got kicked and got back, "Noob shotgun whore" xD

16 AntwortenFirst week after VOG Hard launched, I was only 29 on my Hunter and was asked to join a Hard Raid. I didn't do so well as it was the first time I had ever done the Hard Mode and no one had bothered to explain the differences to me (Elitist douchebag group) so when we got to Aetheon and I got teleported in, I was commanded to grab the relic. "I'm 29 man, I'm going to get one-shot." was all I could say before being screamed at to grab the "mother-blam!-ing" relic. I did as I was told and charged down the steps at the Praetorian (we were on Venus). Before I could even complete the ground-slam attack, I was sniped out of mid-air by his cannon. Obviously this caused an uproar and they promptly wiped due to blindness. I was ejected from the group and criticized for being the only one without a kill that round (we had wiped before initiating the Aetheon fight to reset after the Gatekeeper). Then I was kicked from the party. 5 minutes later I was re-invited back and apologized to. That's not the even the best part. Just before downing Aetheon, the fire-team leader got disconnected with an error code Bee. I received a notification that I was Fire-team leader. We wiped it so that he could rejoin and have a shot at loot. After a 3rd attempt, and just before we landed the killing blow, I booted the loudest and most offensive of the group of assholes, and the Fireteam leader who had booted me. It was great.

2 AntwortenI was doing a roc strike, the two guys were blowing past everything so I was killing everything, one of the guys I was playing with sent me a fireteam invite so I was like okay? I accepted it came back Into the same game, then he kicked me right out of the game!

1 AntwortenFor taking the chalice "too much" during crota raid.. like wtf.. a buddy of mine was there too and apparently other people took it without calling it out and i was calling it out just incase.. then i got kicked lmao.. jakes on them as my buddy left with me and i hope they never finished the raid #salty

1 AntwortenI once got kicked doing hard vog at atheon because the entire raid I was using a hand cannon, was using last word up until atheon then switched to my newly rewarded fatebringer so I could use my icebreaker, we wiped about 10 times. I was level 29 at the time but the fireteam was mostly 30s and the random teleport was just put in. I then found another group on the forums and killed atheon in 3 tries. This was also before I knew the potential of my ghorn, and prior to switching to my icebreaker I only had the found verdict.

Got kicked for not being 32 after the first week the new raid came out. I didn't know that was possible, but hey I got 2 32s now so idgaf.

1 AntwortenGot the Ghorn from the exotic chest in the VOG. After beating it every week since the raid launched, I was of course ecstatic. I was kicked immediately following my "hell yes!"
