So for the most part I look at grimoire score to judge someone on how good they are and honestly it's seems to be a pretty goo indicator. So at what point in grimoire score do you consider someone experienced??
I have 2535 grimoire and i think that's pretty good Id say once they hit 2200 they're experienced.
Also I've played as little crucible as I can while still getting exotic bounties done. (Because it makes me want to stick needles in my eyes) so I very unexperienced at that.
I realize about 150 score or more is due only to ghosts however I still think it's a good indicator

I think that dose not matter I now people that stopped playing came back and are still beast at the game

2 AntwortenI don't know how to get mine up further. I've literally done everything in this game. I play crucible constantly, I've had so many guns I've had to delete a bunch cause I didn't have space, mastered every single weapon type, I've completed the raids upwards of 80 times, done every bounty every story mission, maxed out all 3 classes, literally everything except finishing all the ghosts I've done but I can't get mine up from 2200 lol. I don't care much about it, it just bugs me that I don't know what else to do haha

5 AntwortenGrimoire to me just means u play more or are an achievement whore. I play all 3 classes but primarily use snipers, handcannons, scout rifles, rocket launcher, and heavies. I don't play a lot of crucible and I don't go hunt for golden chests or dead ghosts. I have friends that have 2 characters with less playing time then me and they are achievement whores. Get on do bounties every reset. Search for chests and dead ghosts. Use all the different weapons because they are close to getting a grimoire card or whatever. Maybe look at raid completions or something but grimoire has nothing to do with skill in any way.

The only part of the grimoire that requires some form of skill is X wins in Y PvP mode. Everyone can do the rest by simply playing. So no, in general it's not a reflection of skill, just time invested.
-
I have 2165 I think and I play on a fire team of 2600 people grimore people and they all agree if the best player in the group so not always
-
I have a 2660 Grimoire the only way for me to get more is to play PvP and as bored as I am some days, I just can't get myself to do it
-
Very multifaceted, gun skill without experience in a strike? cool. Gun skill and no experience in a raid, not going to happen unless you are carried. Pve is more knowledge and equipment. PvP is more tactics and gun play.
-
It does not equal skill imo. It equals experience. Anyone over 2000 or 2100 has sufficient experience, which often translates to skill, but not always.
-
Someone could still suck at the game and just grind grimoire score through story missions etc. I wouldn't use it as a definite indicator of skill, but people with higher scores tend to be better players for the most part, but there are always exceptions.
-
It doesn't equal skill But if they have all the pvp ones they're decent
-
People should be choosing members based on experience and in this case it's grimoire score
-
2565, and I didn't pull ahead of the "general population" until completing ghosts. Skill? I dunno. Persistence can achieve the same.
-
I wouldn't say it shows skill, but players with a high grimoire score are likely going to be better at the game. Players with more time played are likely going to be better at the game. It's hard to know how good someone is going to be before you play with them, but if I see someone with a high grimoire score, I assume he's going to be good. It's always been the case so far.

Grimoire score = Experience
-
I wouldn't say that completely. You could not have a single ghost or use certain weapons or classes and not have certain exotics and be under 2200
-
Definitely Experience. 2555

7 AntwortenI'm at 2805. And to those saying it's mainly based on dead ghosts are wrong. It's based on enemy kills, raid completions, weapon kills, strike completions, VIP patrol completions, public events, PVP kills, PVP wins for each playlist, etc. Dead ghosts is only a portion of it. I think it's more a sign of your experience in the game then actual talent sometimes. I've seen guys with high grimoire that can't stay alive worth a damn.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von W Silvermane: 1/1/2015 7:38:52 AMSeeing as it doesn't take Skill to get the Ghost's in this game, and that's about HALF of the score. And the other half is either you farmed/killed a shit ton of enemies, and anyone can do that, or use every weapon a lot, and everyone can do that as well. No, it never really does. It either means you use a lot of weapons a lot or found ghosts. :/ In fact, because I'm bored and got nothing to do right now, I'm hunting all the ghosts that I don't have already with a website. So that will get me from 2305 to about 2500-ish.

Bearbeitet von ImSoLancey: 1/1/2015 9:11:07 AMGrimoire just represents time and variety of activities you've done or weapons you've used. Someone could have a high score and be a terrible player. Mine will never be high. Only play a hunter, no crucible and see no point in going out of my way to find dead ghosts Just looking at your profile suggests that you are inexperienced unless you recently deleted a character with a ton of time invested in it. Each of your characters are on the low end of the cap and your load out isn't good at all

1 AntwortenIt's not always an indicator of skill but in my personal experience higher grimoire score means better player
-
I see it more as experience than skill. Someone with a 2000 and up score is going to know significantly more about the game than the new sub 1000 guys I've been seeing. The higher it is the more enemies you've killed with different weapons and activities you've completed. That's not to say someone with a high score can't be bad. Had a lot of friends that wanted to be carried and they got at least 1k score from me carrying them.
-
Not really. It just shows how long you've been grinding.

1 AntwortenThe More Grimoire, The More you guys need lifes!
