So for the most part I look at grimoire score to judge someone on how good they are and honestly it's seems to be a pretty goo indicator. So at what point in grimoire score do you consider someone experienced??
I have 2535 grimoire and i think that's pretty good Id say once they hit 2200 they're experienced.
Also I've played as little crucible as I can while still getting exotic bounties done. (Because it makes me want to stick needles in my eyes) so I very unexperienced at that.
I realize about 150 score or more is due only to ghosts however I still think it's a good indicator

Grimoire is nothing more than discovering items(dead ghosts etc), so many types of enemies killed by certain weapons, types of weapons you own & thats pretty much it. Wouldn't really say that it requires skill. Its kinda like saying someone that has 3,000 magic cards has more skill than someone with 1,000 cards. When actually the person with 3,000 cards could just be a noob.

2000 is usually good enough for me when I search for teams on the forums but I've seen skilled people who just don't bother with picking up ghosts and stuff

Bearbeitet von SomeWhiteDude: 1/2/2015 2:06:26 AMIt's a good indication of player skill but grimoire score by itself isn't enough to tell if someone is a noob or not.

Doesn't mean anything except they play the game a lot and with different characters. Quantity does not equal quality.
-
13 AntwortenNo it does not mean skill. The only relative thing to base skill off of is crucible score.
-
1 AntwortenDoesnt mean skill people just go around finding all the dead ghosts and getting 5 grimoire each time if thats skill then wow
-
4 AntwortenI dont see why you consider it skill. You get the cards randomly. I just looked at mine being 1440 and I didnt know I had that many, mainly because I dont pay attention to something so random.
-
I usually put my bar at 2500+, players under that for me I wouldnt want to play with them unless a friend of mine can vouch for them. Considering I have max grimoire score I am quite picky.
-
That is seriously is dumb.
-
It correlates with game time, sure, but not skill. Almost all grimoire score originates in grind - find all the ghosts, kill 1000s with each weapon type, each class, in pvp and pve, etc.

10 AntwortenJudging by my grimoire and my crucible medal score and my k/d. I'm pretty good.
-
1 AntwortenI think I could get 200 more just by creating a titan and a warlock instead of keep on playing with only one character, that wouldn't make me a "more skilled" player thought...
-
Experience + Luck. Still yet to hit 2200 but am more skilled than most.
-
I use it to see who's had the game since day 1.
-
Grimoire score=Experience Experience usually equals skill
-
I just look to see how long they have been playing as for the most part the longer played the more skill they have
-
5 AntwortenI look at Medal Score also for crucible bc if u r not playing crucible and doing well u are most likely not very good. PVE isnt hard, crucible takes more skill.

It shows that the new level 30's are only 30 because of the dark below

I see the grimiore as a bar of experience and not skill. I see someone with 2200 or so, then I think that they know how to handle themselves in the strikes and the raid. Whereas I see those with low scores as new and if asked a question, I will answer with the knowledge I have gained since 9/9/14

5 Antwortengrimoire score = time played nothing more, nothing less.

I like how it slowly increases. It used to 1500 then 2k now this lol
-
Please show me someone below 2000 Grimoire with good PvP stats
-
2 AntwortenI disagree. Grimore score is better reflection of how long you've been playing Destiny and how thoroughly you've explored all of Destiny's various gameplay modes ( story missions, patrols, strikes, raids, PVP, how many enemy kills, ghosts found, etc ). Skill isn't necessarily a factor.
-
2315, but ignore my medals score. I don't do PvP.
-
It's hard to say. For me my score is low because I didn't search out the ghosts, or have a ton of the weapons yet. My world didn't open up to hand cannons until I got Fatebringer, and pulse rifles were lacking before the general buff so they are on the low side too. I almost never use a shotgun, so there's another 15 points. On top of that most of my PvP is spent as a time killer or the occasional exotic bounty, so I don't have the crucible kills, or game wins.
