[b]Dynamic Weather:[/b] Weather that affects Gameplay.
Some examples include: [b]Dust Storms/Sandstorms on Mars[/b] (Reduced Visibility/Slows Character Movement),[b] Hurricanes on Venus[/b] (Heavy rain blurs vision and rough winds sways your aim), [b]Blizzards on Earth[/b] (Reduced Visibility/Keep moving to avoid frostbite), [b]Lunar Eclipse on the Moon[/b] (Darkness EVERYWHERE).
[i]It would occur randomly between[u] 30 minutes - 1 hour[/u] and affects the entire planet (not a specific zone).[/i]

The money they spend on this simply wouldn't be worth the return they would make by having it in the game as of now. Even though it is a brilliant idea.

You say that these would happen randomly within a time frame, but what about the duration and variations? For example, the sand storms on Mars would last around 5-10 minutes and rather than a full blown storm the entire time it "pulses" with varying degrees of severity at randomized intervals. Also the idea of frostbite, would it slowly kill you? Or would it be more of a debuff where your weapon handling (reloading, switching, and aiming) are severely penalized for a minute? I like this idea of weather and could discuss more if you want (or others want). Send me a PM.

I want dev time spent on more content and events, maybe even making the tower feel social and not a big space with close to useless vendors, closest thing to anything social is 4+ people randomly dancing and never even saying hi, just going to orbit after the 30 seconds they felt they almost connected with another guardian

Bearbeitet von Trando: 1/2/2015 6:13:09 AMWhile you're on the topic, why not have 4 levels of weather? 1 - clear 2 - noticible 3 - blatant 4 - extreme (Sorry for wording, doing this after waking up) And on top of that, there was another post around here that had an awesome idea, it was incorporating specific public events during said extreme weather patterns. Fighting a supply column of Fallen and moving Devil Walker in a blizzard would be awesome!

8 AntwortenIt's just a stupid waste. This game was made for all the stupids and youngins out there who want a cool shooter with out all the difficulty. Weather would ruin destiny for them. Just keep destiny stupid because there's no turning back.
