What's the point in the vog now?
Does anyone know?just seems a bit silly that it even exists now the there is ce?well done bungie for making an entire raid COMPLETELY useless.....
Just to point out I love vog. But thats why it's annoying - apart from mythoclast and fate bringer there's no point in doing it. All the armour etc is now next to useless as well.

Exotics and Fatebringer are my only reasons for going to Vog, and it's still fun.

I'm a 28 and still haven't done VOG. I feel like I'm missing out regardless of outdated gear.

Dem shards and energies. Keep in mind that everything except the new raid gear requires shards and energies to upgrade.

4 AntwortenIt's fun, you can still get great weapons like the fatebringer, VOC or Vex, it's a great place to farm shards or energy. Plus you can still get exotic drops. You can also be friendly and run the Christmas noobs through it when they are geared up.

Out of the 3 times I beat atheon this week once I got Ice Breaker (already had it) and about an hour ago I beat him on a different character and got GHorn and Vex in the same drop.....so for people looking for exotics it's a little more than useless.

We did Atheon hard last night just because we had a group of 5 and someone had a save. My cousin got a gjallahorn (which he didn't have) and then he immediately went and upgraded it ala Xur. So I would say there is still some incentive. That and it was pretty fun, since we haven't done it since before the DLC dropped

VoG isn't completely useless. You can still get Fatebringer and Vex. After the House of Wolves comes out then it'll be completely useless.

Got 4 exotics last week, all turned to shards.

Elemental Primary Weapons: Since crotas End only rewards those in Hard mode which isn't released yet. The guns can be used in PvP or strike missions. Raid Armor for PvP & Strikes since Christmas noobs haven't done the raid there will be rarity in thee game for those with the armor. Basically only in Crotas End does lvl 31/32 gear matter.
