Think of the damage numbers with only the first two digits. If the the first two digits are the same as the enemy you are shooting at(and you are the same level) you will do 100% of the guns damage. If you and the gun are "1 level lower" (example: you are lvl 31 and gun is at 317 damage, and you are attacking a level 32 enemy) you will do 30% less damage. Two levels lower it will be 60% less damage and so forth, because each level below is another 30% less damage. Due to the fact that we have not seen any level 33 enemies in the game so far the 320-something damage on the vex is actually inflicting 100% damage to all enemies. Also damage does not ever scale up by 30% the way it scales down. The reason level 2 enemies die faster is simply because they have a much lower health pool, NOT because you are doing more damage to them. However, I do agree that it is weird that they chose to make it max out at 320-something, while all the dark below weapons max out at 331. This, I believe, is because they're will be level 33 enemies in the hard mode for crotas end, the same way all the enemies in the vault of glass went up a level for hard mode. Most people don't know that this is how the stats work because there are not comprehensive numbers in the game, but I assure you this is all fact and can be looked up on several different sites, where people have video and images of testing this. Also the number value for damage does not matter in regular crucible, the only indicator is impact. A non upgraded gun and fully upgraded gun will do exact same numbers to a guardian in regular crucible(not iron banner). These are not my opinions other than my above belief about why. All the numbers and percentages are bungie dev approved stats. Look it up if you don't believe me.

2 AntwortenI hope the devs can write better post then this. It looks like a giant rambling a kindergartener would write.

1 AntwortenThe want the necrochasm to be the new vex. Thus is why it goes to 331 to the vexs 323.

3 AntwortenMy eyes. Explaining is better when you use paragraphs.

9 AntwortenThere's one thing that I'm confused about dmg wise. So when I had my pre DLC Icebreaker maxed out, I could stun Phogoth with every crit shot. Then when Xur sold the upgrade, I went with that and of course it starts out at 302. And I tried using it the same way, but it would take two crit shits instead. Even with a higher dmg than my previous 300. It did this until I think about atleast halfway through upgrading the Icebreaker. Now that I have it maxed I can stun with every crit.

5 AntwortenPretty arrogant to think people NEED you to explain this. Also, this was done in about September. So good job on being massively late.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von I Try you Cry: 12/29/2014 8:18:05 AMREAD THE LINK BELOW, THIS INFORMATION IS WRONG, WRONG I TELLS YE! http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/86544061/0/0 It's my post on how Attack actually works. I recommend you read it because you yourself are wrong. Edit: As someone who actually took the time to test Attack posts like your's annoy me, you claim facts meanwhile your information is dead wrong. You spread misinformation, you are the reason people don't know this stuff.

WRONG! I can't believe how this misinformation is still spreading. Please do some actual tests and delete this post, you have no clue what you're talking about.

WALL OF TEXT IS NOOB
-
Impact. Important.
-
Bring on the wall !!!
-
Its 20% according to bungie
-
This would make more sense if you couldn't shoot level 2 dregs and then shoot level 20 dregs and see that the damage done to them is different. That alone disproves your theory of a lower hp bar being the only reason level 2 enemies die faster.

Much wall.
