Xur will sell shit this Friday
What with all the christmas noobs, Bungie doesn't want Xur to sell crazy good items to make the newbies feel left out because they won't have enough strange coins/be level 20. Don't wanna scare them away.

Ta da! I promised and Xur delivered. Couldn't have possibly been any shittier. Worst gun in the game, and not even an engram to try and get obsidian mind/heart of the praxic. And armamentarium? Cuz we all need that... No heavy ammo synth as well. And warlocks? Ready your anus for experiencing claws of ahamkara every week.

Seeing as most exotic weapons are useless, and Xur only sells one at random every week, it could take months for a decent weapon to roll around. Let's face it, most of us are waiting on the Icebreaker, Gjallarhorn and maybe Suros. All the other weapons are either, not sold as they're acquired from bounties or unique drops, or only good for collectors. The only reason I roll with the Truth is because I don't have Gjallarhorn. I've had every exotic bar NML, Dragon's breath, Gjallarhorn, Icebreaker & Thunderlord. I sharded almost all of them as they were useless or I had better legendaries, and I wasn't about to upgrade them all. At this point in the game's life, if Xur doesn't have an engram or heavy ammo, he's almost useless for anyone but newbies.

An interesting argument, but Xur is supposed to be purely based on RNG. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of manipulation, though.

This would be just like bungie, throw out all the good stuff to lure the newbs into the mad grind of endless thrall stompings and to keep the rest of us with a glimmer of hope the little seaweed faced crack dealer we have come to know as Xur will actually sell good items again after this week... But of course he won't until that glimmer of hope is almost gone again.... Bungie is sick like that.

12 AntwortenI know it's a long shot, but I'd love to see The Heart Of The Praxic Fire. A Gally upgrade would be sweet. Even a 331 Suros would suffice. But All the aforementioned, long shots.
