Bungie - Please remove "complete any strike without dying" bounty
Edit: Just reading through the replies, and they are testimony that stupidity is indeed universal. So just to be absolutely clear. [u]I'm not talking about me dying[/u], [u]I'm talking about people joining the Strike I'm doing an expecting a free carry without any contribution[/u]
Tired of people trying to complete it by not actually contributing. Change it to "Get the most kills in a Strike"

I would like them just to script out AFK's after 5-7 min, then add a new player mid-strike

This won't stop afkers. Killing them 100+ times might though.

They should just go to the planet and chose a strike, if they can't do the one on earth they should get banned anyways or have a locked banner saying >I SUCK<

I disagree with you. And I'm not an AFK'r, I just head to vanguard ROC and run a strike. Its not hard to stay alive.

I love that bounty for the challenge and yes I play more carefully but I normally get the most kills too. It's easy to strike a good balance. Seems like you are getting a few rotten apples.

I do this bounty all the time, non-AFK, and in all my days of playing strikes I have never encountered the famed AFK guy, which is pretty great. I just load up a low level strike that goes hand in hand with any other bounty like the tears or whatever and play that and everything's all good. Although I was an AFK guy for around 10 strikes for the stupid bad juju bounty.

Get the most kills in a strike? More like play a strike solo lol it can't be something too easy like that...but I agree strike AFKers are annoying

Invite them to your party and when you're about to beat the strike, kick them. That's what I do.

It's such an easy bounty. I don't get why someone would afk it to complete it. So pointless.

6 AntwortenThe concept that completing a single strike without dying is remotely difficult is ridiculous. The people that afk strikes are going to do that regardless, the bounty is not the reason that they are doing it at all.

The bounty doesn't need to go because a lot of people can actually do strikes without dying easily. What needs to happen is some kind of booting system that gets rid of afk people or people who haven't pulled the trigger/made a kill in a few minutes.

You say it like the strikes are hard... Sure having teammates to help you is nice but certainly not a requirement. Bungie should just make it too that unless you're in the final area you don't get any rewards-problem solved.

Bearbeitet von Nutts: 12/22/2014 4:03:33 PMI accidentally did this the other day. Got the summoning pits, but as we spawned there was a blade of crota spawn behind us. I went over and killed, then forgot I was in a strike and went to the starting area for another blade knight. After killing two more I remembered and headed in (slightly embarrassed, but at least they were randoms). Just caught them as they were killing Phogoth. If this was you.. Sorry lol!

Honestly, I don't see why people just don't do the Devil's Lair strike if they REALLY want to complete that bounty.

It's not too difficult to contribute to the strike and not die. As many times as we've done these I rarely think about it. Oh well. People suck.

I disagree with you and I have never gone AFK in a strike. That bounty is easy to complete and shouldn't be removed.

I die and just leave because didn't feel like wasting time lol. Also if you run forward and see people standing still just turn around and kill them with your sparrow. They will either leave of just dc later on.

Whenever I take this bounty I just run strike playlists till I complete it and any other achievable bounties while striking.

The bounty doesn't bother me, except with the moochers.. But if this happens, I push them off the map or kill them with my sparrow. Problem solved.

how do you AFK during a strike? do you just kick back and chill at the first spawn?
