Gift from bungie: Free Exotic?
I was thinking, since DeeJ stated that there would be some "stocking stuffers" when the holidays are over, will Bungie be offering a free exotic weapon to all its players?
Now, I have thought it out, so don't rule out this possibility just yet.
I can up with the idea of Bungie offering ONE exotic weapon engram. You can get one, and only one. That means that only one of your characters will be able to acquire it.
As to what kind of weapon it will be, that will be all RNG as usual. There will be one kind of exotic weapon engram, they won't be divided into primary, special or heavy. You get what you get.
The engram will be available at your postmaster on, before or after Christmas and will not disappear, unlike xur who is only available in the tower for 48 hours. You can hold onto it for as long you want, which means players can use it when it gets delivered, or save it for another time.
This would be a perfect thing for Bungie to do, in my opinion of course. If they really want to say thank you, this is the way to do it.

EDIT 3: To all who are seeing this post, I will ask a question. Does Bungie take the feedback that It receives seriously, or do they just not care anymore? I've been wanting to ask people this question a numerous number of times, and I think now is the appropriate time to ask it.

In absolutely rare cases, someone may get a legendary engram from it, and in 1/727272782, said engram will turn into an exotic. And in an alternate reality of probabilities, someone's primary legend engram turns into a Hawkmoon.

It would be nice, but let's be real. It be something like a consumable that makes you shit candy canes when your revived, or a Santa hat, maybe if your lucky it'll be a red and green shader..

1 AntwortenNu nu nu, not this. Slight adjustment: Make a universal exotic engram. Such that has the ability to give you ANY exotic in the entire game so as long as it goes with your class. (I don't want my only christmas present to be a titan helment when I'm a warlock.)

They probably won't. We'll probably get another update that doesn't tell us anything useful and something dumb like a hat or whatever. You know, the usual.

6 AntwortenPerhaps what they did is increased the chances of getting legendary drops? (Since rahool is holding legendary engram on the picture). The reason I say it is because Im actually experiencing much more luck with legendary stuff this weekend. I had two legendary engrams just this weekend (which normally happens maybe once a month for me - yes I only got like 3 legendary engram drops before). And I got a third legendary from a blue engram today (which never happened to me before - yes never). So im pretty much overwhelmed with the amount of legendary im getting (they mostly went for shards but still). Anyone else is experiencing sth like this or did I just get lucky?

Bungie allows us to upgrade any Legendary items, be it armor or weapons, to 2.0 status/331 and so on.
