please add micro-transactions for leveling weapons
In sick and tired of having to grind to level up weapons. When I play I just want to have fun and do what I like to do and not do countless of the same bounties to unlock my upgrades.
Is rather spend 5 bucks fully unlocking a weapon than spend hours on Boring bounties. Please consider that.
It doesnt hurt anyone, you can still level up gear the normal way or spend a couple of bucks and be done with it.
EDIT:
It sucks in games that are free to play...then it becomes a Pay to win game.
Just look at battlefield 4 they have micro transactions where you can unlock the upgrade nodes for weapons etc and works just fine.
Thats what I want. Shortcuts to upgrades. Nothing else,you can do it the normal way or Pay for it. Im not asking for dmg advantages or anything. Some people have more time to spend and others have money to spend.

What is wrong with giving me the choice between leveling up my weapons the normal way and spend the time I have to game on leveling the weapons or just unlock it with money and spend my time having fun?
ITS a proven concept in a couple of games, it doesnt dmg the game and hurts no-1.
Battlefield does it, no one whined or cried.
Mass effect did it to Some extent (with a rng element included) no1 whined.
But it feels like destiny is 1 big broke cry baby community which cant accept others wanting to play differently.
These micro transaction dont break the playing field!
EDIT3:
Im not saying you should be able to buy gear. Only unlock the upgrade nodes of gear you already have. And only the exp part, the materials needed still need to be farmed. Maybe I wasnt clear enough.

I like this idea. I wouldn't pay for it because I'm cheap as hell but it wouldn't really hurt anyone to just be able to do it faster.

12 AntwortenI hate using this term but its whats known as a "slippery slope" first you can level weapon with cash, next Activision sees the revenue and shouts more! Next there is a real money cosmetic shop with pay only shaders, ships and emblems. Finally raid weapons and armor are on sale the launch day of any expansion. Micro transactions in any form provide great temptation for corporate abuse. In a fps like battlefield where weapons are balanced, it might work. In a loot based game its far too easy to lock an op weapon behind a pay wall, making the game pay to win and making most of your players leave. I've defended destiny and its horrible loots system because of a single redeeming feature: it's fair. Just brutally fair, everyone has the same chance to get every weapon. When the game is no longer fair we stop playing.

Edit while I have some frustration, farming to upgrade equipment, I had previously unlocked.. 3 days later... Here I am same equip, better stats, unlocked once again.

1 AntwortenIf they add this I'm done. Never worth spending a ton of money just to level up in a video game. I paid enough for the game plus DLC already. That's why I stopped playing WoW after a month. Not worth it.

Those hideous games that use micro payment as excuse to release half assed games where everything worth getting is just few dollars away. Best looking armor, weapons, dyes, mounts, just name it and you have to pay more than monthly fee, or grind for ingame currency untill your eyes and fingers bleed. If you even consider giving developers more options and opportunities to release steaming piles of games and fund future development with these kind of actions, you are part of the reason why this business mode is so popular now. Why can't you try to be more critical consumer and ask for games that are really worth the price tag and now swallow without chewing everything you are offered? It's obvious you are used to play awfull games and paid micros, and what's even worse, monthly sub on top of that. Normally games that add micros into them, people pay about 60% more on top of sub. Is any game really worth playing if it costs hundreds of dollars every single year? Hell no. If Destiny 2 would cost 350€ but would include everything they might add for the next year, would you buy it? Hell no. If anyone would pay that, they would be total idiots. But with micros and subs it is totally normal, for some reason, that people pay that same amount of money. Sheeps.

I get your idea and i understand... I'm also annoyed to level all mY exotics again.. But microtransaction is the wrong way to go...the problem is that those greedy s@&€t heads in the companys won't stop at the little things as soon as they see money flowing...they add more little shit And more and more and at the end destiny 2 will look like dungeon keeper mobile....
