Based on the PS4 trophies
84.2% have not completed a raid.
of the 15.8% that have only 3.4% did it with a full clan team.
Which means 12.4% did the raid using random groups anyway.
These statistics alone prove match making or looking for group should be in the game for raids.

1 AntwortenI know bungie has apprehensions about matchmaking but at the same time, it wouldn't be very difficult to implement and just having that option would make a lot of people happy. If it doesn't work out, we still have LFG websites so no harm done. My foresight may be blind but I really can't see any major consequences of just opening up that option to us.
-
No it means we have friends who aren't necessarily in the same clan as we are.
-
and it will remain that way the idiot running the show has publicly stated there will BE NO matchmaking beyond what is already ingame but the muppet did invent a hashtag #EPICFAIL
-
Agree 100%. Raid matchmaking would be good for players, the community, and "Destiny" as a game. Bungie's stated philosophy on this bothers me. The raid is supposed to be the best content in "Destiny". And yet Bungie seems content to have a small fraction of players complete the raid. And there are no alternative activities as rewarding as the raid, not even Iron Banner.
-
Imstead of matchmaking, why not have an in-game text chat so you can shout in a LFG section of the text chat and find people.
-
If they won't add matchmaking at the very least when your at the tower a status under you r game tag ie. UltimaTech88 Raid Or UltimaTech88 Nightfall Then people could send invites and people would be sitting there sodding around trying to sort out what they are gonna play
-
No matchmaking Come here recruit a team You're welcome
-
Really easy to find a group on any platform on the recruitment section. Only reason i found a group to tackle crota

15 AntwortenXbox1 players are better than ps4 players. That's why bungies plays there.
-
Well, it is suppose to be hard, maybe that's why
-
Fireteams recruit random people in recruitment so matchmaking would be good idea must have Mic tho
-
Lfg sites are not equal to pug matchmaking

4 AntwortenSeems like most XB1 players finish the raid, IDK I've never raided in my PS4 version as loot is too hard to find now-my Warlock is stuck at 25 and nobody helps players out like we all do on XB1. XB1 has a better community. That's why I play Destiny there. I've actually met some cool people on XBox Live. Actual legit players. We raid, drink travelers and complain about Destinys horrid RNG. Then we do it again.
-
Just because it wasn't completed with clan mates means nothing. My clan completed it last night and we had two " friends" not clan mates in. But they were by no means randoms.
-
The fix for this is so easy it is stupid, ever xpac have 4 light level increase. One level for vanguard gear, next for lfg raid, next reg raid, next heroic raid. Progression and open access to all content for those that want it. You can run raid without needing to know a bunch of ppl but getting to max light level would require that and all the teamwork it does now. Casuals happy and hardcores happy. The end
-
I actually did it with friends that were not in my clan....
-
Wait....where did you get these stats from?
-
That's because we have idiots running fireteams kicking everyone of teams, I've completed raid the system of letting idiots control fireteams that's where bungie have failed
-
Matchmaking would be terrible for the raid, dedication and communication are needed to do the raid, matchmaking does not have these qualities, I find myself always finding raid teams on the forums and my fair share of bad runs in raids and amazing runs, because everyone was dedicated to doing it and we all had communication.
-
This doesn't prove that ransoms got together, it's just they weren't in a clan
-
1 AntwortenSeems like everyone does it on xbox. I find this strange
-
Why can't it be optional like the voice chat?
-
How about matchmaking just for teams of 3 looking for other teams of 3? Or, teams of 4 looking for a team of 2 and vice versa? I mean, the raids do take teamwork and communcation/group cohesion, so it would make sense to not match up players who are all random together, so just leave out solo players.
-
My group does 3 from my clan and 3 from another so that trophy aint happenin
-
I haven't done the raid because I don't know anyone to go with. I've tried to pug but nothing ever happened.
-
It would be nice if bungie could integrate things like a raid forum and grimoire viewer in-game instead of on outside sites. That would really make the game seem more comprehensive
