"But the most important thing for us is that the consumer can't feel that they're just being milked at every turn," he added. "The key factor to success with recurrent consumer spending is to provide consumers with incremental content that they value. And that's the core of our strategy behind our recurrent consumer spending. It's to provide them with deep content in the initial release, that keeps them engaged--that creates opportunities. And it's to offer them additional content that they find to be very meaningful and are very happy to pay for if the opportunity arises."

22 AntwortenBungie doesn't care because the userbase doesn't care. The amount of brain dead idiots on this game that dont care that they're basically on a rat wheel, is why this game will never be more than something with potential. Users dont care that their time is a waste on this game. Resets are okay because they'll run the rat wheel all day.

Bearbeitet von Hoots711: 12/11/2014 2:19:04 PMIt is very telling to me that take-two sees DLC/expansion as something consumers yearn for and are "happy to pay for it IF THE OPPORTUNITY ARISES" as opposed to many people here who feel they are forced to buy the "expansion" My personal experience is that take-two is dead on. You play a game like GTA or red-dead and the story is so engaging that you really do want more/more/more of it. I dont feel that way at all about this game. IMHO

7 AntwortenIf you've played GTA online at all in the last year, you'd see that their actions completely contradict their statement here. They had R* implement the cash card model and as a result, mission payouts always get cut right before DLC in an attempt to get players to buy cash cards to buy the new DLC items.

5 AntwortenI was very happy to pay for it and don't regret it one bit. 10 times the content of any cod DLC.

It's to provide them with deep content in the initial release, that keeps them enraged
