Right honestly I don't want any heavily biased answers, I'm stuck as to whether it's worth spending £35 on the expansion pass?
Edit1: thank you for the advice everyone, I think I'll buy it since I got the game as a gift anyways, so the dlc will feel like I'm actually paying for it lol

2 AntwortenThis guy has always been pretty fair with Destiny. He sees the good and the bad in the game. This review of the story missions might help you decide.

I played like 30 minutes of it and love it , people are complaining just because they don't wanna have to relevel there guns and gear but the contents good and I like that there are new stronger weapons and armor
-
rip off imo, but they're basically forcing it on everyone since people who haven't bought it can't do the nightfall/heroic this week, and won't be able to buy some, if not any of xurs items this weekend
-
From what I have read so far it sounds a rip off i gonna wait a few days before I devide

Destiny: $20 for this round. Missions, strikes, raid, multiplayer maps, crazy new gear, and a cool dark theme for it all. Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, etc.: $15-20 per round. 3-4 Maps. I did it, with not a moment of regret.

I DON'T KNOW. I CANT READ THE REST OF YOUR POST BECAUSE IT ISN'T IN ALL CAPS.

I look at it this way. It cost me and my wife $15 or more to go see a movie. If I get 2 hours of enjoyment from TDB then it was worth it. I know I'll play it more then two hours so I'm happy with the purchase.

2 AntwortenI like this style of game, so I would say to definitely get the DLC, the new armors and weps are sweet!
-
If you like destiny and you want more destiny then its probably worth it. I'm very happy with it personally.
-
Only if you enjoy Destiny.
-
you're paying for 1 strike, 1 raid, 3 "missions" & the ability to do weekly/nightfall strikes. Vanguard/Crucible/Factions all have "new" armor without the DLC.

2 Antwortenthink of it this way, that's a night at the bar, for something you enjoy playing...
-
Only way to find out that is for you to watch gameplay and not other people's opinions.

1 AntwortenNo. We're getting ripped off in Britain.

1 AntwortenDon't look on this forum for your answer.

For me it is. I enjoy the game, and want to keep it fresh.

If you're hoping for this game to be "fixed" into something else, then no, ABSOLUTELY NO. If you love it the way it is, then probably, why not. If you're short on cash, I'd wait.
-
If the 35 will break your bank, don't....
-
If you enjoy the game then buy it, I bought because I really like the game.
-
Honestly not really. However, if you want to keep playing Destiny it is pretty much required because of paywalls to strikes(if you want rewards), the nightfall, ect.
-
It's cheap /more weapons and content so yes..
-
Nope not really
