So, tell me. Am I ready for the Hard Raid?
Alrighty, so, take a look at all my Guardian stats and see if I'm ready for the Hard Raid:
Primary(s): Maxed Shadow Price
Atheons Epilogue (just got it though)
Special(s): Maxed Icebreaker
Maxed LIGHT/BEWARE (Void)
Heavy(s): The Swarm (Void) Note: It's not maxed but has been upgraded quite a bit.
Level 29 Titan
(Could be level 28 since I just got Raid boots)
Not sure which Class to choose.
NOTE: I have done the Raid a bunch so I've got good experience.
So what do you all think? Opinions? Suggestions? Thanks for the feedback Guardians :)

I am 30 with lots of swanky gear and I'm not ready... But in my case, it's a lack of quick thumb aiming ability.

Hmm well you could use either epilogue and icebreaker or shadow price and light/beware. Id recommend the second one for everything else. Use icebreaker on oracles/templar and also for atheon if you don't have gjallerhorn or similar. Also buy helm of inmost light or helm of saint 14 as it will help you with defender subclass. Use weapons of light for defender. Good luck.

But it takes 6 and personal experience says that just cuz u ready your team needs to b good cuz a couple guys who can't control relic or can't survive will make it take forever if u can beat it at all

2 AntwortenBuy the helm of inmost light level all your armor up to make you 30 and it's going to be easier to do run defender with weapons of light helps you and your fire team

4 AntwortenThat moment on easy when you think to yourself " I have time to get one more shot off"... On hard you need to be out already before that happens. Every time I died on hard it's cus I thought I had one more second.

2 AntwortenGet that epilogue and swarm maxed out and you'll be good to go, you just gotta work for the kills and watch the damage, it's a lot easier when you reach 30. Ice breaker is your best friend.

Being 28 is going to be a handicap. Upgrade your armor to 29 (one raid peice and one exotic will get you there) then with full weapons and a reliable team your golden. You can do it at 28, but its a pain

1 Antworten-blam!- it man just go for it, you will only know if you're ready once you start the raid. Although most people are saying you are ready so go and enjoy it!

1 AntwortenHighly suggest maxing the epilogue to get oracle disruptor. However, it mostly depends on your team mates, their knowledge of the raid and your knowledge of the raid.

I mean yea man go for it. Just try to max out Epilogue cause that gun is amazing.

2 AntwortenJust dive in. It's the same raid, just more intense. Only thing I noticed that's different is the detain shield when Atheon opens the time stream. Other than that just higher level enemies, and perhaps more of them. It just takes practice like normal mode did.

Bearbeitet von tombok90: 12/6/2014 6:30:38 PMYa, dont use ur shadow price. And dont go in at 28. Defender its not even a question and learn where its ok to set up ur bubble where it wont block people from Firing at enemies. Never set up a bubble near a conflux ever

If you have raid experience, you're good. Be careful though, hard raid on 29 is pretty tough. I did it with my titan a couple nights ago. Make sure you have a good experienced team lvls 29-30.

If you feel like you can hold your own, you are ready! That icebreaker helps out a lot!:)

2 AntwortenYou are ready lol. I did my first raid with epilogue, epitaph, and the swarm(solar) at lvl 29. You're good bro just stay alive. That's all that matters. I ran it the correct way all the way through. This was before the cheesing was brought about. Now more people are experienced so you should be straight.

Yes definitely. I went into hard mode as a 29 Warlock last night and got the last piece I needed. Hard mode is a bit challenging obviously but I think you'll be fine. I'm about to do hard again with my lvl29 hunter. I believe hard gives you better/more drops or somethin' like that.
