What do you expect, you used a derogatory term (calling people yanks in your language is not a positive thing) and mentione you didn't care about a Holiday that Americans do care about. I'm not sure where you're from, but if you're from the UK, anything that has to do with the Queen, is silly and I don't agree with, but I wouldn't bash and it. Also, America has had a pair since the revolutionary war. Generalizing an entire population and is being prejudice, unintelligent, childish and just wrong. The fact that you don't realize what doesn't offend you may offend another shows you have no life experience and are in fact a child yourself. The fact that you felt the need to bash something that others love, show's that you are a child. An adult would not offend a culture/country and if they did, they wouldn't be shocked by the response you got. I'm not going to stick up for the way people treated you or claim that they were right for doing so. However, the way you framed your original post started by you insulting Americans. To be fair you were definitely asking for the abuse to come. Which either means you were trolling or are just a rude person who has no thoughts for others in which case you are no better than the people insulting you.
