9 AntwortenYour "advice" is misleading and unwarranted. The current exotics aren't changing after the patch. You need to upgrade them to change them. This is how you bring them up to the "next level", so to speak. Why doesn't anyone understand this? It makes perfect sense for Bungie to be doing what they're doing.

If its something like hard light gjallahorn, i will, since we wont be seeing them for awhile most likely. You hav to havethe exotic, to upgrade it genius.

3 AntwortenI have to agree. He will probably sell the new exotic gear next week so save your coins. But if he sells galley ill spend all my money to get it. But screw the rest of em. Oh btw I think it would be wise to buy the exotic engrams and save them til after the update. I hope I get those dope ass titan gloves.

depending on what he sells I will buy it. you can still upgrade the weapons to match the older ones, and certain exotics are different or unique enough that people will still use it. For example, Ice Breaker is a very unique sniper imo. Also Gjallarhorn, truth etc.

Bearbeitet von JD: 12/4/2014 4:38:47 PMFirst of all you don't have to upgrade anything if you don't want to. The upgraded version of exotic weapons only gives an extra 23 attack. If there's an exotic I want tomorrow that XUR has im buying it then I'll just wait to upgrade it.

I think I have every exotic weapon, so I will buy engrams and armor if I don't have it or if it has a higher intellect/discipline/strength.

You "can" upgrade it anyway..just don't upgraded it much. save what you need for it.. the key is: If you buy it from xur, you will at least have it and then wait to upgrade it..I won't pass on anything I want or need from xur. Upgrading is quick if you know how it's done.. I've stopped upgrading everything and am saving everything I get with the exception of legendary weapons...
